Went here while walking around the old town of montreal. Coffee was really good, didnt have any food other than the cheese scones at the barz

This is a beautiful, cozy coffee shop with a great atmosphere. The coffee tasted very good, & we really enjoyed it. The only disappointment was the breakfast food. The sandwiches & other items were good, but I expected larger portions & a bit better value for the price. Overall, it's a nice place for coffee, but the food could be improved.

Some of the staff was a bit rude, we asked a simple question & they replied to check ourself where the place was.
There are no prices on the products as well, I don't want to ask how much a product is.

This is a lovely cafe in Old Montreal. My first visit was yesterday. I had tried a number of coffee shops 4 days before I discovered Le Petit Dep. Their coffee was nowhere as good as the Dep.
I bought a spinach feta scone to go with my cappuccino. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as the great cappuccino & good service. It was try.
The coffee brought me back this morning & I again ordered the cappuccino but this time I tried the bacon/egg sandwich. Delicious! Be sure to have it warmed up on the panini grill.

Excellent service & atmosphere. We got the iced latte & a Violet smoothie & both were great. We are going to come back to buy some of their fresh prepackaged salads & sandwiches for the road before be go!
