Highly recommend you book a spot in advance, the restaurant is a little bit small but there is a good amount of seating. I've been here a few times & the authentic French food & service is always great. I recommend bringing your own bottle of wine to go with your food since the restaurant does not have alcohol for purchase. The servers will help you uncork it & put in a container of ice to keep it cool, all free of charge.Voir plus

A gem of a French restaurant. Each dish was fantastic. Excellent quality & freshness of ingredients prepared to perfection.Ambiance is nice , not too loud, friendly attentive staff. The only problem with our dinner was that our wine was corked! LOL, so next time we will bring a second bottle. Lesson learned!Voir plus

Very reasonably priced. $52-$62 per meal. No corking fee for bringing your own bottle of wine. They don't serve alcohol so if you don't bring your own, you won't be able to order any there. The bison steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out very rare & under done. They did try to fix it & provided a free dessert as an apology. Overall still a fantastic experience & would definitely go backVoir plus

J'aimais aller à ce restaurant mais j'ai été un peu déçu en arrivant puisque contrairement à ce qui est laissé présagé sur le site, vous êtes obligé de prendre leur table gourmande. Le site indique des tarifs pour les entrées & les desserts mais rien de cela n'est disponible. Moi qui voulait qu'un plat j'ai dû emmener les 3/4 de ma formule chez nous. Les entrées étaient parfaitement exécutées mais ma femme & moi avons été déçus des plats (ribs & bison). Les saveurs étaient ordinaires. Je venais par ailleurs de manger la même semaine le bison chez Hoogan & beaufort & on était à des années lumières l'un de l'autre. Bref, pour un bill à 150$ à deux, je crois que je favoriserais d'autres établissements à l'avenir.Voir plus

Cozy restaurant, staffs are friendly, food is next level. Simple sweet potato soup but taste is so comforting , my son finished the whole bowl in one go. Duck confit as appetizer is delicious. Short ribs is tender & juicy, the best I had. Creme Brulee is so creamy, rich in eggs & with a crunchy topping. We had a delightful meal, will definitely come back.Voir plus

A lovely resto with a friendly & unpretentious approach. The value for money is spot on. I would like to see options for vegetarian mains, perhaps it's possible if you make arrangements in advance. I liked that there was a mix of locals & tourists, with everyone given the same attentive service. It's a tad on the loud side as it's a bustling place, but that was fine with us.Voir plus

A Really Nice French Restaurant! A Wonderful Find for Me Will be Fun to Explore the Rest of the Menu in the Coming Months! June24 2022 after COVID got 2 starters a tartare & a Foie Gras & for a Main some nice lamb with a decent BORDEAUX! With a Reasonable Bill & decent Service!!The Bone Marrow Appetizer was good & I really enjoyed the Duck Breast!!! July 24/22. Now the Deer July31/2022 Excellent with nicely 👌 aged Medoc 2009 just right for Deer! Got Bison with a Riscal Gran Reserva quite nice!For the New Years a 2017 Altesino Montisoli Brunello ( personal opinion still to young & is lacking the Classic Montisoli Taste last year I can identify was 2014 not that Good but identifiable as Montisoli! :() quite a nice wine! I had high expectations when visiting Le Peagase in Montreal, but unfortunately, they were not met. To start, the soup we ordered was extremely bland & watery, failing to impress as a starter. Moving on to the entrees, while the tartare & Profiteroles au boeuf braisé & fromage de chèvre were enjoyable, the black pudding Parmentier left much to be desired. For the main dishes, the rack of lamb & rabbit pasta were average, lacking the special touch that would make them stand out. Although the rabbit pasta sauce was decent, the overall experience fell short of expectations. However, the ribs stood out as the highlight of the meal-well-flavored, tender, & truly enjoyable. On a positive note, the dessert selection was exceptional, with each offering delivering delightful flavors & textures. Additionally, I appreciated the option to bring our own wine, which added to the overall dining experience.Voir plus
