If you had asked me before the last winter which location in the Plateau Mont-Royal was the best for ice cream, I would have said Le Patio hands down, as it was my favorite place to grab a bite since 2022; but I've just had the utter misfortune of going there today (May 1st) & watching for 20 minutes as two unqualified employees tried to figure out how to create a very simple vanilla ice cream with brownie combo, after which I was told they ran out of the custom plates (because this is a large, multi-person ice cream order intended for me & friends to share) we were then given a simple serving cup, with barely any chocolate syrup despite specifically requesting more as well as a single Costco box brownie (they hadn't even bothered to take the sticker off the box.) I then reluctantly had to hand over $10 plus tax for an ice cream that I could've gotten at La Diperie which is famously expensive, for half the price.
Oh Le Patio, how your standards have fallen! The very next time I feel the need for some ice cream, I shall simply go to McDonalds & bring my own brownies from Costco to come with it, atleast their employees are more qualified to serve it.

Goût du sorbet au litchi peu prononcé (ce n'est pas le meilleur que j'ai mangé) & texture très'élastique'
L'enrobé au chocolat était mal fait. La crème glacée coulait dès la seconde qu'on a mis les pieds dehors au point où à un moment donné ça coulait sur nous. La boule de crème glacée a fini par tomber par terre après 2 bouchées.

Le Bar Laitier Le Patio est un vrai bijou dans le Plateau. Je prends toujours leur crème glacée aux pépites de chocolat, crémeuse & délicieuse à chaque fois. L'emplacement est parfait & l'endroit dégage une ambiance de crèmerie à l'ancienne qui rend la visite à la fois spéciale & nostalgique. Un incontournable pour une vraie gâterie estivale.
Plusieurs variétés de plaisirs glacés & de spécialités locales chez le patio! Pour un grand choix de crème glacée, de crème molle à différentes saveurs & de chocolat pour accompagner le tout & d'une terrasse pour déguster & relaxer c'est l'endroit parfait au Plateau💖 on a goûté la crème molle chocolat & vanille pas sucré,frais même le biscuit était juste PARFAIT👌🏻 Accueil chaleureux & la serveuse vous guide avec sourire & gentillesse.
Nice ice cream shop. The chocolate coating is delicious but masks the ice cream flavor. Will come back. (Wish the rhubarb topping had been available for ice cream, would have loved to try it.)
Simple vegan flavors such as chocolate, vanilla & coffee. All of the toppings you could hope for (not all are vegan), & some choices of cones. Very friendly staff.
The cutest Ice cream shop on Mont royal, love the terasse overlooking the busy street. Plenty of choices for ice cream, but their soft serve is my go-to especially with the sheer amount of chocolate flavors you can dip it in. Been coming there since Im a kid, & will probably keep going as long as its here.

Their vegan ice creams are really good; I got the oat based ice cream & it was super creamy & did not affect my sensitive digestion. If I'm not mistaken they have soy & oat based ice creams (vanilla, strawberry & I think chocolate). You can dip your ice cream in dark chocolate but in terms of toppings, they have a few vegan friendly options but they don't seem to stick too well to dipped ice creams. If you really want toppings stick to ice cream in a cup. Other than that, they have friendly staff, clean environment but no in door seating (however there is a terrace available).
Très bonne crèmes glacées, j'ai eu pistache & matcha. La première très goûteuse. Ils offrent plusieurs variétés de produits tel que des blizzard & enrobé la crème glacée sur du chocolat similaires a chocolat favoris. Quelque chose que j'ai trouvé assez distinctif par rapport a d'autres c'est qu'ils offrent aussi de la crème glacée pour les pitous.
