Hi there, my boyfriend & I came to visit Montreal for the long weekend & excited to come to Le passé composé as I have always had wonderful experiences here. This time as usual food was amazing & our last server was great. However, we had a first server who was totally ignoring my presence & kept making eyes at my boyfriend & it was very inappropriate. she was also not dressed appropriately. I usually don't care or make comments but it made the entire situation uncomfortable for me & felt disrespectful . I was so happy after that we got another waitress, who attended us & was wonderful & respectful. Just wanted to call out that guests shouldn't have to feel this way or feel waitresses blatantly flirting with your boyfriend in front of me.
The waiting for our food was just overwhelming,I saw this restaurant in Ig & I thought the concept was different but honestly I was expecting more.I ordered some Benedict eggs & the brioche felt like a piece of salted cake instead of bread(I guess is the only way to make it look gigantic),I did not finish my plate because it was just too
Much. They should focus on flavour rather than looks & portions.I don't think I'll come back, but I have to say the place has a cute terrace .
Une très belle découverte! Les saveurs & la beauté des plats se côtoient. Je vous recommande de commander un plat salé & un sucré pour partager .... Comme cela pas de regret

Nice food! However we made the reservation at 12:45 for the standard seating, we arrive there on time but we wait for more than half an hour to be seated. The reservation policy should be improved.
