Review Summary

Le Parva offers a convenient location for visitors, with many appreciating the selection of sandwiches, salads, and pastries that prioritize local ingredients. While some patrons enjoy the reasonable prices and the quality of dairy products used in their drinks, experiences regarding service vary significantly from friendly to indifferent. Recent changes in the kitchen have led to mixed feedback about the consistency of menu items, and while some find the coffee quality appealing, others have noted concerns regarding preparation methods and serving styles.

After being ignored by the staff for a while, I was told that they no longer served sandwiches - which they had had 2 trays full of 5 minutes prior, but had already put away (an hour & a half before their closing time).
I was then offered a leftover salad & soup combo, given to me in small takeout containers even though I was eating on the premises. While the soup was decent, the salad left a lot to be desired & there was no cutlery available for it (just a wooden disposable spoon for the soup). Even after paying I continued to be ignored by the staff, who seemed annoyed when I finally got their attention to ask for my receipt.
I have no problem with employees wanting to get ready a little bit early for a close, but when you're hours are supposed to be until 6pm, shutting down your food service at 16:30 is entirely excessive.
I chose this place to try to support a local business, & not just another chain restaurant, but that seemed to have been a mistake.
This review is for the location in the library building, but the cafe inside the library proper. Honestly, after my experience here, I don't know if I'd be willing to give the other location a try.

Good place to stop & take a break from studying at the library. The food is good enough for a snack! There is always a soup of the day, some sandwich options & viennoiseries. Prices are ok. It's simple furniture but really is a place where you could meet in the area that is cosy & quiet enough! It serves its purpose well, & i'd recommend
