Review Summary

Le Nomad : Café Tranquille is described as a small, charming spot where takeout is common and the coffee and tea are highly praised, from excellent lattes to a chaga latte, with the option to add herbal supplements like reishi, ashwagandha, or holy basil, a feature noted as rare in Montreal. The space is described as beautiful and cozy, with comfortable seating for a quick work session or a stop before activities up the street, and the staff, especially the barista, are repeatedly noted for friendliness and pride in their craft. While some reviews mention that prices can feel a bit high for takeout and that the menu could be clearer, the drinks are often described as magical and the quality as excellent, making the cafe feel like a special treat rather than a routine stop. The venue is sometimes inside a store or set up as a takeout friendly cafe, adding to the overall cute, welcoming atmosphere and leaving a positive impression overall.

I love getting my coffee or matcha here, & I always add a herbal supplement like reishi, ashwagandha, or holy basil. There are many more options, too. As far as I know, this is the only cafe in Montreal where you can do so!

Okay, here's my experience: if you're going to the spa, it's such a fun treat. But as a takeaway coffee place, I don't understand how a basic matcha latte cost me 8$ plus tip😭 But the place is so cute & the staff is so nice, I just think the need to make the rearrange the menu so prices are more clear!

Magical coffee & tea drinks -- don't know how they can be so good, but they are.

Really sweet little coffee shop inside a store. I went there to do some work before pottery class up the street. I think it's more of a take-out place but my seat was comfortable & my latte was good. I also got a smoothie. My total was over $20 which felt a little expensive but it was tasty!

Excellent ambiance, delightful coffee, very nice service. I had a cappuccino & my girlfriend had a chili chai latte. Lots of comfortable seating & you can add espresso to the specialty lattes if you want!

They need to be more clear in their signage that *none* of their specialty lattes contain coffee. I was recommended the iced golden latte, which tasted like water with cardamom. Come to find out it essentially is. I added one espresso shot & ended up paying more than $10 for a latte that doesn't taste good. Gave 2 stars because the shop is cute.
