The service team was clearly very well trained & well coordinated. Would recommend that meal to anyone.View more
What an incredible experience, like no other I have had. The wine pairings with the several courses are a must. The explanation prior to each course & at your table are very informative. The staff & host are also very approachable, professional & very thoughtful. It was like going to a friend's for dinner. Highly recommended!View more
Our experience at Mousso was strange. While we knew service would only start once everyone was seated, waiting for late arrivals felt frustrating. The food presentation was overly elaborate, sometimes distracting, & one dish was served on raw hay without warning-an issue since my partner is allergic to hay. The wine pairing was good, but the waitress consistently poured less into my partner's glass than others, which was noticeable & odd. The sparkling water also lost its fizz quickly. Despite these issues, the staff were kind, but overall, the dinner felt inconsistent & underwhelming.View more
Came here on a Saturday night & glad I booked a month in advance because it was fully booked! as I walked in I was greeted with the staff's big smile & the dimmed slights made everything so moody & perfect. We sat near at the bar with a good view of the kitchen so our experience was much better as I got to see how the chefs collaborated while I indulged in all the dishes. Owner & chef Antonin Mousso was super friendly & very passionate about bringing the produces from Montreal some creativity & uniqueness, I was awed by all his dishes packed with umami & so much flavor. we enjoyed half wine pairing & the sommelier was super knowledgeable & friendly. I loved my experience here every single customer seemed to be having such a wonderful time!View more
We absolutely loved Le Mousso, such a beautiful cuisine with amazing quality products, & a lot of innovation with tastes & inspiration from all over the world. You cannot go wrong, the chef & staff are very nice & caring for every details. Last but not least, wine pairing was geniusly done! Nothing to envy to Paris where a lots of chefs excel at what they do!View more
Absolutely gorgeous food & creativity. A lot of thoughts have been put into wine pairing to match the themes of each course.View more
I can't give anything less than 5 stars for food & service. The foie gras amuse bouche was the best thing I tasted all year... until the morel course which was just wow. The chef explained to my Celiac partner the modifications made before each dish & we hugely appreciated that attention to detail. The price point is high but you see exactly how it translates to the ingrediants selected. I'd prefer slightly higher salinity but it makes sense to keep it muted with these dishes. The only way to make the experience perfect would be to speed up service. We arrived at 6 for a 615 reservation &, had we stayed till the natural end of service, would have been sitting on bar stools for 4 hours. A long service is normal for tasting menus but 4 hours is really pushing most folks' endurance. If they could pull it into 3 hours, it would be perfect. Wine pairings were AMAZING & actually very well priced. More (white) wines from Quebec would be interesting. The non alcoholic juice pairing was less successful. Some of them simulated strongly flavored alcohol containing cocktails & wine. My partner ordered the juices because she doesn't like those flavors. Overall, best meal of the year so far & this Montreal trip has already been full of bangers. I've read a lot of the other reviews & they seem to be really taking into account the odd time when it's not just 5 stars omg! That kind of responsiveness should be praised. We'll be back!!!View more
Delicious food beautifully presented. Set menu by the chef that changes according to the season & local produce. The chef presents each dish as well, very entertaining. Amazing wine pairing! Great experience. On the very pricier side. $$$$View more
