Review Summary

Le Lotus Bleu receives praise for fresh handmade noodles and dumplings, with hand pulled thick noodles and broths described as rich yet delicate, and a range of dishes including beef and lamb noodle soups, spicy pork bowls, dumplings, and dim sum that many find highly satisfying. The open kitchen and the live noodle making add to an authentic and cozy atmosphere. Service is described as friendly and portions are generous with good value, though some note that peak times can be crowded and service slows when staff is stretched. The place is called a hidden gem in Chinatown with a casual and welcoming vibe, and the noodles and broth are repeatedly highlighted as the standout items, especially the hand pulled noodles and the spicy chili oil. There are some drawbacks mentioned such as indoor air circulation being warm, seating being cramped and flow awkward, occasional menu items running out or being less flavorful in traditional Lanzhou style offerings, and occasional wrong orders. Practical notes include no on site restroom and the need to use the adjoining building washrooms, and occasional glitches with the payment machine. Despite these, many reviewers say the quality, price and authenticity keep them coming back for the noodles and the comforting flavors.

Spacious Northern Chinese hand-pulled noodles restaurant. They have only 2 size of noodles. I tried their signature dish (the lamb noodle soup) with the #6 noodles & was quite disappointed. It lacked flavour & the noodles were thick & heavy. On the other hand, the spicy mushroom & chicken noodle soup was delicious & full of flavour. The #4 noodles were less thick & quite enjoyable. Very good service. You can get served in both French & English. I will definitely come back to try their other spicy soups.

Quick & friendly service. Clean & comfortable. Good variety of noodle dishes without being confusing. Noodles & dumplings are excellent. Noodles have that perfect chew of a good hand pulled noodle. Fried dumplings are delicious, thin tender shell with generous filling.

I’ve had hand pulled noodles in NYC & ATL, & this was the best I’ve had! I ordered the no. 6 noodles with the spicy minced pork broth. The noodles were perfect & the broth was really good!

They were so busy but the lady was super friendly & welcoming.

Wow!!! The beef soup with their pulled noodles was amazing. The best broth I’ve ever had. They told us we can mix a little red wine vinegar, home made chilli sauce & their soy sauce to the soup. Let me tell you! I was in heaven. A definite place to try! Hope to come again while I’m here. Wow wow wow. Did I tell you how amazing it was?

Oh & the price was great. A large portion about $14.
