The food is delicious, but the service is lacking & it's not a clean place. We had the beef noodle soup (10/10), assorted dumplings (9/10), & potato salad (3/10). After waiting 20 minutes I had to call someone over to order. They gave us 2 napkins for my family of 4, & no plates/bowls.

I've been coming to this restaurant for about four years, usually when I'm working downtown, & I've always had a positive experience. I've even recommended this place to many people in my circle because the person who normally serves me is always so kind, friendly, & welcoming.

Unfortunately, this time my experience was very disappointing. I was given the menu & then left waiting for quite some time. When I thought they were finally going to come & take my order, the staff went outside to smoke instead, leaving me waiting.

What upset me the most is that I couldn't help but feel that I was being judged or treated differently because I was wearing dirty work clothes. I was coming straight from work, & although I may not have looked my best, I was still a loyal customer who has been coming here for four years.

I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but after being such a loyal customer & recommending this restaurant to others for years, I honestly expected to be treated with the same kindness & respect as always. This experience really made me feel uncomfortable & unwelcome.

I loved the dishes I ordered. They were so fun. I got half portions of the seaweed noodle salad, potato salad, cucumber salad & an order of the crystal noodles. The textures & flavours were luxurious

Fell in love with the Le Lotus Bleu during our summer 2023 visit & we've been meaning to go back! They've made several changes in the past few years, including bringing the noodle chefs to the front & staying open on Tuesdays. The hand pulled noodles here are so good. My partner & I got the small bowls (braised beef & lamb noodle soups), but the portions are HUGE. Highly recommend going for noodle style 6 (thickest, more chewy) or 4. We also got the pork & cabbage dumplings, which are super juicy. This meal was very filling; we could've done without the dumplings, but they're too good to pass up. Service was ok since only one person was handling most FOH procedures. Atmosphere was also fine. It was just really warm, even with the multiple fans running (open doors, no AC), but it was to be expected with the pots of noodles cooking in the front. Since everything is so tasty & affordable, we'll try to make a stop every time we visit :)

Very poor service. The owner was unwilling to provide each of us with an individual small plate, & the attitude was very disappointing. Even worse, the noodles we ordered tasted sour & seemed to have gone bad. Overall, it was a terrible dining experience. We definitely won't be coming back.
