Located on Duluth Street in Plateau Mont Royal, Le Jardin De Panos restaurant shines with popularity as one of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal. Le Jardin de Panos offers a simple, limited menu, you'll find lamb chops, brochettes, skewers, seafood, fried calamari and moussaka to name a few. Most dishes served with large salads and Greek lemon roasted potatoes. Come and enjoy Le Jardin De Panos' beautiful terrace and bring your own wine as they do not have a liquor license.
Le Jardin De Panos is widely regarded as a classic Montreal Greek restaurant with generous portions, solid value, and a warm, convivial atmosphere. Dishes such as souvlaki, moussaka, calamari and pikilia regularly receive praise for flavor and portion size, and the bring-your-own-wine option is consistently noted as a major plus along with a pleasant garden or heated terrace setting. The ambiance is described as lively and family friendly, though it can be very noisy when busy. Service is a mixed bag: many visits experience attentive, friendly staff and smooth dining, while others note slow or uneven service and occasional mis-timed courses. Overall, the restaurant is seen as a reliable go-to for celebrations, casual dinners with friends or family, and long-time visits, with many guests highlighting the tradition and consistent quality over the years. A few reviews point to room for improvement in consistency, cooking temperatures, and occasional dishes arriving cooler or drier, but the overall impression remains positive and encourages return visits.
great service, warm & cosy athmosphere, wonderful old-style building with french windows & wooden details in the interier. A spacy garden covered by the roof so you can seat there even during the rain. Some authentic greek dishes in menu. Calamari & tzatziki were just perfect, no difference from the ones we tasted in Greece. Moussaka was tasty but not exactly the same as in Greece, though I anyway enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Service was very slow ! I mean we got reservations for 6pm & got served at 8pm, that's really not acceptable! Also when food got to our table it wasn't that hot! Overall not bad.
This place is our go-to when it comes to having a solid meal, great service, & great atmosphere in Montreal. We have been going here for 20 years & it is consistent.
We always tell people we bring beforehand that they are not re-creating the wheel, it's just really good food.
Great place, the terrasse is very nice...the'lunch' deal is also great ! Only disappointment is the potatoes. They use to be cooked in wine or something...super delicious ! I was actually craving them regularly.
Now the potatoes are good like most restaurants, but nothing special. I hope they bring them back......
That said, I will be back.

We talk a lot here about the food & the service as a customer. But do we talk about how the employees are treated? I worked at this restaurant one summer a few years ago. I don't know if the owner, the old guy who is getting old, is still there? This man is completely disrespectful & a tyrant with his employees, we are talking about abuse of power & intimidation. It was clearly not a place that respected labor standards. There are other places to work. Working in a healthy environment is the most important thing.
