I cannot believe I have never been to this cafe before! The sandwich they make is so amazing! I loved it. Simple, delicious & inexpensive. It's absolutely a place you have to go if you felt like most fancy cafes these days are just a hype… this place is just humbly charming. Now this is a quintessential cafe in my book. I want to say it's the best I've ever been in (of many hundreds) but that might just be enthusiasm of several good visits talking. Firstly, it's both spacious & cozy, red brick walls mixed with couches, tables, stand up bar as well as a back room that feels more private but is more for noisier chatting. In the main room is, quite unbelievably, is live music every single day between 10-5pm which sends this cafe into another category of shared social spaces entirely. It is successful as a space to sit & read quietly, chat with a friend or listen to rather chill live music. The menu is small but good & coffee is great & always improving. Can't give it a better review. &! Many of the patrons actually have books with them which is heart warming to see.View more

This is a love & hate situation. Pros: amazing vibe. Very cosy & welcoming The live music makes this cafe even prettier & lovely & the artists are very talented with amazing voices Coffee is good Cons: I didn't find the place clean. I ordered grilled cheese & it barely had any cheese. In fact they cut it in half & one half the cheese wasn't even seen The salad is not too fresh & the vinaigate is too acidic ( white vinger flavour is overpowering everything else )View more
