If you're coming for the regular breakfast menu, it will be average food, other signature dishes 8/10. I got the Philly eggs Benedict which was a good amount. The waiter was welcoming & kind as well.
We been going there for a while, waiters are awesome, place looks formidable, but they seem to have had a problem on the kitchen side. Last 2 times we went there, we were disapointed. My Eggs were tiny, the yellow was cooked hard, toast were stone cold, 1 slice of beacon & about 3 man fingers worth of potato, i usually would eat to my hunger there but that day, i could have ate 3 plates like that. My daughter took the strawberry pancake, there were about as stiff as aged tortillas, it would literally crack when she tried to cut it & well, not that good. i know it was clearly wrong when the waiters visibly was uncomfortable to give us our plate, so she knew. We left the restaurant & went home to eat again cause, we both were hungry! we always been fair tipper & we are quiet client, we know what we want. It will be a while before we go there again, i mean, the point of going to a restaurant is to skip cooking & eat greatly, both of which were a massive fail. It is very unfortunate because we liked this restaurant so much, we would go there even if we live in Montreal now! So we are now on the hunt to find our new favorite breakfast place! any suggestions are welcome!

Finally a lovely breakfast/brunch restaurant that understands quality service, attention to food freshness & presentation & most of all a chef who knows how to prepare a soft boiled egg to perfection.
Absolutely awful. Don't go here. I gave them two chances & am totally unimpressed. I love & continue to frequent the west's island location, but live in the east, so was excited to have a Cosmopolitain closer.
The first time they put us on a small table in an'aisle'. It was so small that we had to stack our toast & pancakes & milk & cream bowl on top of each other. The waitress was distracted & falsely polite. She didn't check on us once during our meal. The food was average except the pancakes. I literally couldn't eat them. They tasted of baking Soda. It was disgusting. First time in my life I couldn't eat pancakes, even drowned in butter & syrup. We thought to give it a second chance.
We went on my birthday in the summer during the week so we had our pick of tables. The terrace was open, but I was with a friend who is obese. They had chairs with armrests. He couldn't fit in them. Inside there were armless chairs. We asked the waiter if we could bring one out because he didn't fit & he said no. He said the manager doesn't let anyone bring the chairs out. Period. Remember, there are only about 1/4 of all the tables taken. He walked us inside to a booth, my friend can't fit in booths. We had to ask to be moved again to the tables with armless chairs. Then the service was awful. Rushed waitress even though it wasn't busy. Food took about 23 minutes to show up! That has never happened ever to us at any breakfast place even when it's packed. My potatoes were cold, toast was cold & eggs over easy were hard, no dripping yolk. Orange juice was sour, & i toon blueberry pancakes hoping to cover the soda taste just in case, no luck. I could taste it over the blueberries. I still ate them because it wasn't as bad as the first time.
Overall, awful place. Don't go here. we will never go back, especially because their disrespect for larger people. It's too bad, because the location & terasse are beautiful.
Waited 2 hours+ for food on 2 seperate occassions. Waitresses barely acknowledge you or refill your coffee. I ordered a vegetraian eggwhite omelette with cheese frkm the VEGETARIA
MENU & after 2 hours of waiting they forgot my cheese. In order to compensate, they brought me a bowl of cheddar. When asked what type of potatoes i wanted (mashed or fried) i said mashed. When i found a piece of bacon in the potatoes & approached waitress about it she said "the bacon is blended jn the potatoes" & seemed upset that i even bothered asking this question. WHY WOUKDNT U TELL A VEGETARIAN WHO ORDERED FROM THE VEGETRAIAN MENU ABOIT BACON IN POTATOES?
When cleaning off out table one of the waitresses dropped food on my lap & didnt bother acknowledging it. Upon leavjng, we witnessed a waiter chase down 3 women in the parking lot claiming he forgot to charge one of the women something on her bill. As they were getting into their cars they stated that that was the restaurants mistake & they refused to to go back into a restaurant that offered them poor customer service & pay for an extra dish the waiter didnt charge them for.
GOOD JOB cosmopolitain restaurant. Good service ;)
I normally like it here but yesterday rubbed me the wrong way. I have the Eggs in Shells breakfadt sometimes & always ask without pepper. The first time they still put peppers but the waitress noticed & kept apologizing & asking if I want her to take it back. I appreciate that. Yesterday though, it came full of mushrooms. I never recall asking to remove mushrooms or seeing it on the menu. I asked about it & was told it said it came with it on the menu. It bothered me so much because I hate mushrooms more than anything & I know I would have noticed. Sure enough I come back today & I look at the menu & there's NO mushrooms in the description. My friend had seen the waitress go look at the menu after I asked but she never had the decency to come back & admit their mistake, which would have gone a long way.
