Absolutely Outstanding - A Memorable Experience!
We visited Le Charleville to celebrate a special birthday, & it was an unforgettable evening from start to finish. The ambiance is quaint & cozy, creating the perfect setting for a meaningful gathering.
The service was exceptional-Catherine took amazing care of us with warmth & professionalism.
We enjoyed a delicious four-course meal, & every dish was a masterpiece. I started with the mushroom ravioli, followed by a refreshing palate cleanser made with strawberry, lemon, & gin. The main course-lamb shank-was perfectly cooked & rich with flavor, & the white chocolate crème brûlée was the perfect sweet finish. Every bite was a wow moment-bursting with flavor & beautifully presented.
The use of fresh, local ingredients from Quebec & Canada really shines through in every dish. This was, without a doubt, one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant in a long time.
Bravo to the team at Le Charleville-highly recommended!

La nourriture est excellente & le prix est raisonnable pour la qualité des plats mais pour le reste…aucune ambiance, la décoration est médiocre & l'odeur n'est pas agréable, comme une odeur de moisissure, d'humidité….La bâtisse n'a jamais été entretenu avec les années. Ce qui fait qu'on mange & on a hâte de sortir. J'ai précisé à deux reprises que c'était l'anniversaire de ma mère & aucune attention n'a été porté à cet effet. Dommage c'était la première fois & la dernière.
Le Charleville est mon restaurant préféré. La nourriture est succulente, le service est excellent & l'ambiance est parfaite. Le temps entre les différents services est très bien & nous ne nous sentons pas bousculé. Bravo!
It was our 19th wedding anniversary & everything was perfect, beyond perfect! The waiter was extremely friendly & helpful, & the atmosphere was just so beautiful & quaint! & the food, the food, no words! Everything prepared beyond expectations & the presentation was high end! We will certainly be coming back & bringing friends! Can't wait to sit on the terrasse!
I have a trout tartare as an appetizer & I've never had anything like that before, highly recommended!
As usual we had a wonderful meal. Stephane's creativity in the kitchen is pure joy! The service is warm & attentive & yet still allows enough privacy for a romantic evening.

Friendly staff in a cozy atmosphere, each dish was so flavourful, I loved the attention to detail. Would definitely recommend going & has now become our new on repeat restaurant!
Cute little gem of a restaurant in Vaudreuil-Dorion. It is a BYOB, & the food prices are very reasonable. Keep in mind it is a set 4-course menu, with different options for appetizers, mains & desserts. Everything we had was very tasty & beautifully presented.
We started with mushroom ravioli, cauliflower soup (soup of the day), filet of walleye, seafood risotto & their signature filet mignon. Desserts included white chocolate crème brûlée & pistachio Opéra.
On top of the excellent food, the setting is in a cute, old house, & the service was fantastic.
We will definitely be going back.

Perfect spot for a quaint dinner with friends. Charming place, Quebec sourced menu. Waitress was great, fun & knew her menu, didn't disappoint ~ definitely going back!
C'était une première fois pour nous,nous avons adoré! La nourriture est excellente,les portions sont parfaites,nous avons reçu un service impeccable de la part de Dominic! On va y retourner sans hésitation!

I took my husband here for a surprise dinner for his birthday, it is now our #1 go to spot. The food is amazing. Atmosphere was romantic for two, calm & enjoyable for groups. Everything we ordered were phenomenal, they tickled our senses. The presentation, the scent & the taste are just out of this world.
My braised deer ossobuco was tender & bursting with flavor even the exploding green peppers were a welcomed surprise , the creamy blue cheese snails & mushrooms were delightfully exquisite, this coming from someone who hates blue cheese. The raspberry coulis cheesecake, smooth & velvety. I've never had one like it.
My husband enjoyed his medium rare bison flank, he was fascinated as to how did they cook it so perfectly from end to end. It was tender & full of flavor. He had the house-made foie gras, the taste of each component complimented each other in ways that made his taste buds dance. The carrot cake didn't last long in front of him, he loved it, the cream was heavenly.
I had almost forgot to mention the lobster tail. It was an excellent addition to our meals. It was exquisitely tender, with succulent, buttery meat that melts in your mouth. Perfectly cooked & delicately seasoned, exploding with sweet, ocean-fresh flavor, enhanced by delicate seasoning.
We always tasted each other's orders, I always give him the first bites of my food & I of his. That's how I'm able to describe his meal.
Our server was super sweet & very polite, which made our experience so wonderful. The service was very well executed, front appetizer to dessert, they did not miss a beat. We didn't bring our own wine because we don't drink with every meal, but the trou Normand was a pleasant alcoholic palette cleanser.
Le Charleville, you have ruined all other restaurants for us. You have set the bar so high, anywhere else feels disappointing. Stephane Boudreau, thank you & your team for making this evening a wonderful & unforgettable culinary experience.
Incredible experience at Le Charleville- every bite is perfection & the atmosphere is wonderful. Being able to bring your own wine just tops off the experience.
