This cozy brunch spot was a delight! We had no trouble getting a table around 10:30/11 on a Sunday, & the service was so warm & welcoming. The eggs benny (with duck) & Santé were absolutely delicious with good portions.
The pancakes we ordered as a side, unfortunately, didn't live up to the rest of the meal-they were a bit dry & thin, & it was a bummer to pay extra for maple syrup & berry coulis.
However, the homemade lemonade & blood orange mimosa were delicious.
Overall, the food & service were great, & we'd definitely return for another yummy brunch!View more
The Lac Brome (duck confit eggs benedict) was delicious. The duck & the orange hollandaise was the perfevt pairing. The yolks were perfectly runny. I also got the breakfast martini which had a nice cinnamon & maple flavour to it. Almost reminded me of an egg nog.
The service was also super friendly & fast. Our server was always smiling. There are a lot of fancy places in Old Montreal. This one felt friendly & cozy, yet maintained its upscale nature.View more
Just totally perfect. Fabulous good, great place, lovely staff. Can't recommend highly enough. Don't miss the Lac Brome - eggs Benedict but with perfectly cooked duck confit! 👌🏻View more
Weird scrambled eggs with cheese- the texture was gross. Very overpriced. Charged extra for pancake syrup- pancakes were dryView more
Loved the atmosphere! Smoked salmon bagel was great but not as filling on its own. Poached egg was alright but the meal was large!View more
We really enjoyed this delightful little bistro/market. Our server was delightful. I forgot to take pictures. My scrambled eggs with asparagus & goat cheese was quite delightful. I would do it again for certain. My husband also enjoyed his croissant with ham eggs & cheese. Not much ham on the sandwich tho.View more
We had an excellent brunch at Le Cartet Resto Boutique. We ordered the CANTON, New York-style pancakes, & scrambled eggs - all of which were delicious! Their coffee & smoothies were also fantastic. Despite being Labor Day, the wait was only around 15 minutes, which was quite reasonable. The service was great, & we appreciated the option of both two-person tables & larger communal seating. The attached grocery store is a nice touch, offering pasta & various other items for purchase. A wonderful spot for a relaxed brunch with great food & service! Highly recommended.View more
Best breakfast we had in Montreal & one of the best poached eggs we had in years. Very inspired combination of flavors for the Nordique dish with capers & onions. The fruits were very fresh & the bread was yummy! Cappuccino was exactly how it should be, not too much milk - so we could still taste the good quality coffee. Pancakes were good, but the eggs stole the show.View more
Very delicious breakfast! We tried their pancakes & eggs with asparagus. Both are fresh & delicious! The pancake has a unique flavor of having a strong milk flavor. Not overly sweet. Our friend's grilled cheese with duck confit was delicious too. The vibe was nice & service efficient.View more
Super fresh breakfast. Poached eggs were perfectly soft & runny. Avacado toast was fresh. Fruit & vegetables were delicious & on point. Iced lattes were perfect. Highly recommend!View more
Came here for a work brunch & the food didn't disappoint. The breakfast I got was huge & delicious. Eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, baked beans & potatoes. I also tried a Bloody Cesar, which is similar to a Bloody Mary, but not as heavy. It was very good & very spicy. Service was fast & friendly.View more

Le Cartet Resto Boutique was buy far one of the most memorable "brunch" dining experiences. Wonderful play on classic breakfast. We enjoyed poached eggs, orange hollandaise & duck confit with a large bowl of Cafe au Lait. Fast, Friendly, Efficient. Wonderful spot in old Montréal for breakfast/brunch & more. Their boutique has all sorts of wonderful food items.View more
Amazing breakfast!! Do not miss this place. I had eggs blended with goat cheese & asparagus & it melted in my mouth. My partner got the pancakes & they were sooooooo gooooood. The graham crumble in the blueberry & maple sauce were just a beautiful & scrumptious touch. Server was excellent. Loved the ambiance. On my way out I acccidentally bought some of their house-made chocolate. One is a gift for me & one is a gift for my mom, if I can stop myself from eating it before I see her.View more
Everything was phenomenal! The attention to detail was noteworthy. The menu is small, which ensures that each item is perfected. Delicious eggs Benedict (with ridiculously delicious roasted potatoes), as well as a goat cheese/pesto/spinach toast with poached eggs & a dessert of yogurt, granola & fresh fruit. Earl Gray tea served with steamed milk (a small but thoughtful addition for the tea obsessed).View more
Amazing!!! Big portion, beautiful presentation, delicious food, everything was on point. the service was great. Tried the pancakes, eggs benedict w. duck confit, & the avocado toast. All were greatView more
Stylish interior, nice atmosphere & service, food was great. Coffee (important to me) was excellent as well. Had Eggs Benedict. Honestly, you won't regret it.View more

What a cute cafe in montreal! I forgot what the name I got, but it was an eggs benedict with smoked salmon. It sounded so good all three of my friends & i got it & it was so good. Our waitress was very sweet & kind & gave us recommendations. I got the orange chocolate coffee & although i asked for it iced, it did come out hot, but nonetheless it was still really good hot. Would recommend coming!View more
On a Saturday morning, when the autumn sun grants beautiful Montréal with a golden light, Le Cartet has a lot to offer. The salmon version of the Benedict eggs is balanced & generous. The tempranillo red wine seems to come directly from Barcelona.View more
Amazing food & service, best poached eggs I’ve ever had. Also, they removed
Meat & salmon upon request for vegetarians.

We had brunch. The menu started the eggs came with greens but we were pleased they had changed to fresh fruit. Our server was excellent.
Great spot for breakfast/brunch. We were able to make a last minute reservation for a party of 6 (including 2 kids).
Service was fantastic & very prompt. We even got a surprise curtesy portion of scrambled eggs for the youngest one, who was very hungry.
We ate at the outside patio & the ambiance was very nice.
An interesting experience. This restaurant was not what I expected. The menu items were unique so not your typical eggs & toast kind of place. You cannot make any modifications to the menu so I was stuck with scrambled eggs. My eggs were served on a hot skillet so they were really overcooked. The meat was good. The food was overall tasty but coffee is not included so that would be nice to include. Also you have to pay extra for jam. Be ready to spend 30$ on breakfast for 1 person. I might go back & give it another chance.
