I went during a weekday at lunch time.
This is a cozy cafe with plenty of tables & chairs, as well as an outside sitting area.
The matcha was smooth & just sweet enough (I asked for half sweet).
Only issue is the service was a bit slow even though there wasn't many people before me.View more
Staff is super nice.
Coffee is good but it is served warm, not even warm enough, not hot; just warm. The kind you can drink in one sip, the one you wouldn't drink after 10 minutes.
Place is cozy. Music is good.View more
I recently visited the Caravane Café &, overall, my experience was fine, though not particularly remarkable. The café has a cozy, laid-back atmosphere that instantly makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step inside. It's tucked in a corner of the neighborhood, with a modest yet charming décor-think wooden tables, soft lighting, & a few plants scattered around, which give it a homey, welcoming vibe. There's plenty of natural light, making it a pleasant spot to hang out, read, or do some work. It's the kind of place you could easily lose track of time in. The service was friendly, which I always appreciate, but it was a bit slower than I anticipated. The staff seemed a little distracted, & it took quite a while for my order to be ready, even though the café wasn't particularly busy at the time. There were a few other customers around, but nothing that should have caused the delay. It wasn't a huge issue, but if you're in a rush, it might be something to consider. That said, when my order did arrive, the staff was kind & apologetic about the wait, which helped soften the experience. For my order, I went with a cappuccino & a croissant, two staples I like to judge a café by. The cappuccino was decent, though not quite up to par with what I was hoping for. The coffee itself was smooth & well-prepared, but it lacked the depth & richness I expect from a good cappuccino. The flavor was on the milder side-more milk-forward than the bold espresso taste I enjoy. It was definitely drinkable, just a little underwhelming, especially since I was hoping for something with a bit more punch. As for the croissant, it was fresh but not exceptional. It had a nice, golden exterior, though the texture inside was a bit denser than I'd prefer. A little more flakiness & a bit more butter would have made a big difference in elevating the pastry. Still, it wasn't bad-it was just not the standout treat I was hoping for. I'd also noticed a variety of other pastries on display, so I'm curious to try something different next time, but I can't say the croissant wowed me. The vibe of the place is definitely one of its strong points, & it's clear that the café is designed with comfort in mind. The seating is varied-there are a few tables for two, larger ones for groups, & even a small counter area near the window, ideal for solo visitors who want to watch the world go by. The music playing in the background was unobtrusive, & the overall noise level was low enough to make it a perfect environment for reading, chatting, or getting some work done. There's also a small selection of books & magazines available, which adds to the chill, low-key atmosphere. I did notice that there's a small selection of specialty drinks & snacks that could be worth checking out. I didn't try them on this visit, but the menu looked interesting. There's also a decent variety of teas & a few vegan options, which could be appealing for people with dietary restrictions. While my visit was generally pleasant, there's a feeling that Caravane Café is still finding its groove. It's definitely a café I'd visit again if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. It's a comfortable, easy-going spot, but it doesn't quite have that "wow" factor that would make it stand out in a city full of great coffee shops. If you're just looking for a quiet place to relax or need a break from the hustle & bustle, this could be a good spot. But if you're a serious coffee lover or have high expectations for your pastries, you might leave feeling like there are better options elsewhere.View more
Great service, adequate amount of electrical outlets, cozy atmosphere. Very limited parking access.View more
I used to love this place for its cozy atmosphere, but lately, it feels too cramped since they've added more tables. It's hard to move around without bumping into people or chairs, & the increased crowd has affected the service. During peak hours, the tables often aren't cleaned properly. To bring back the quality it once had, I think they should consider removing some of the extra tables.View more
I went here as my friend suggested! We went for a breakfast & we ordered egg Benedict with salmon & the other one with onion; it was good , but the potato was not fresh; overall, cozy place to sit outside. Inside was a little bot warm. Waiting time is very long. There are shortage of waiters & cashiers there. Besides, here is always crowded, but it seems like a nice place. Be ready to be in line for 20-30 minView more
View more
Lovely cafe! ☕ It's a great option to go to work, read a bit or just have a hot drink with your friends. Before complaining about the prices, please, you have a menu in front of you & you can decide whether to stay or not, nobody is forcing you, it's called common sense... It's usually a bit crowded as many students use the space for work, but I would still recommend it. The staff is friendly, the prices are fair & the place atmosphere is cozy & quiet. Also, in summer they have an outdoor terrace where you can sit , hang out with your friends & enjoy your food. One of my favorite spots in CDN! 😊View more
Such a cozy place to sit with a coffee & just absorb the atmosphere. Their pistachio croissant is a must-try!View more
Genuinely my favourite spot to catch up with friends, over a slice of carrot cake when we are lucky. Always a warm & cozy atmosphere.View more

One of my favorite cafes I have been to in Montréal & probably one of my only five star reviews! The barista was very accommodating with me despite me not speaking French. The carrot cake & latte I had was great with the latte being smooth & sweet. & the environment seemed quite unique & cozy. Looked like a big spot for college students in the area. Great cafe! (Sorry for not reviewing in French)View more
The service was great. All the staff was friendly! It can get crowded & seating can be hard to find, but the staff helped us get a table which was really appreciated. Overall the food was good. I recommend to try it out. Very cozy to study or grab a bite.View more
