cafe(33) coffee(15) brunch(11) breakfast(9) latte(7) dej(6) dishes(5) sandwich(5) recommend(5) highly recommend(4) weekend(4) pastries(4)Bloom Café is a charming spot with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are pleasant & welcoming, & the vibe is relaxed. The Bun Dej sandwich is a standout breakfast option-fresh, tasty, & satisfying. A great place to start your morning on a good note.
The food was excellent: the best waffles in my life. But if you go during the winter, it's so cold in the restaurant. Everywhere is cold. They put curtains around the door but it's not enough. So for me, is lowers my appreciation of my meal.
Great food , great staff (although a bit understaffed)but this is a great place to eat & cooldown from a crazy day at work
A nice little place, I wish I could look forward to returning, but I won't. I went three times, & asked if I could get a vegan sandwich each time. The first time, the sandwich was great, a delight. The next time, they were not up on what vegan means & put in a fried egg. The most recent time, the person working the counter just said no, told me to look at the menu, said she was busy & turned her back on me. I went around the corner to Clarke Cafe, where the service was prompt & friendly & I got a great vegan sandwich. Goodbye Café Bloom.
Great food & interesting atmosphere but super pricey
Nadia & I were mid-mission when we found ourselves in Montreal, waiting for critical information from the asset. The Canadian winter, though milder than Mother Russia's, still had a sharp bite, so we sought refuge in a quaint local café. Inside, we were greeted by a spirited chef named Sara-or perhaps it was Sarah, or even Sarra-who enthusiastically introduced us to a dish called "potato pancakes." Nadia & I exchanged puzzled glances. Potatoes, our national staple, featured prominently in the many beige dishes of our childhoods, yet never had they been presented to us as pancakes. Intrigued, we ordered our first-ever plate. With just a couple of bites, we were struck by a profound realization: our lives as agents, defined by high-stakes missions & endless sacrifices, had deprived us of simple joys like this. These unassuming pancakes, golden & crisp, were a revelation. By the time the plate was empty & our stomachs content, we had made a life-altering decision. We resolved to leave the mission behind & return to civilian life. Yes, the potato pancakes were that good. I highly recommend this café.
Probably won't go back. Understaffed for a Saturday. So much so that they forgot one of the orders from my table. Not sure how that happened as they were all written on the same piece of paper lol. Service also slow. I had the all dressed waffle & it was a 7 1/2 out of 10. The biggest thing is that I wish there were a few more options on the menu. I felt really pigeonholed into getting hip niche dishes, & they didn't seem very flexible. Kind of hard to explain, but if they added a few classic brunch dishes, I think it would go a long way.
Excellentes cafés & Chai latte. Les brunchs du weekend sont aussi excellentes 🧇
This cafe is a classic in Pointe Saint Charles. I heard the Sunday brunches are really good. I ordered the Spinach Croque, which was delicious. I previously had the Tuna Sandwich & was amazed. I was not a fan of my Chai Latte, & it wasn't warm enough, maybe it would have been better served in a mug instead of a glass. It's a nice place to work if you have a laptop. & if you work in the Nordelec, it's a great place to grab a lunch. Just keep in mind that the wait is a bit long once you ordered.
Bloom Café provided me with an outstanding experience! I had a delicious breakfast paired with delightful coffee. The server was very polite & friendly, patiently explaining the menu & consistently refilling our coffee cups with a smile. The quality of the breakfast was exceptional, & the prices were quite reasonable. The café's atmosphere was also very clean & inviting, adding to the overall appeal of the experience. I highly recommend Bloom Café to everyone!
