Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Définitivement, j'y retournerai pour l'ambiance & cette fois-ci je me mettrai au bar - en terrasse on subit trop le bruit des voitures du boulevard. Le drink était délicieux. Nous avons commandé un plateau de fruits de mer & tout avait un goût de sorti du congélateur. Dommage. Le service était courtois.

Went for an anniversary dinner. We were seated at a bar-top table right at the entrance with constant traffic. When we asked to be moved to another table, we were seated at another bar-top table; tiny thing with chairs that were very uncomfortable. Food was average nothing that would bring me back to the restaurant. needless to say we didn't even stay for dessert, couldn't wait to get out.
But, if you are looking for a lively 5 à 7 this place is perfect. Atmosphere was fun & lively.
Excellent service, la demoiselle au bar était vraiment attentionnée & professionnelle.

Ambiance vraiment le fun & service impeccable. Cocktails surper bons mais les plats sont un peu chers pour la qualité & quantité. À notre groupe nous avons dépensé pour au moins 2000$ & quand même on nous à dit sans tacs du tout qu'ils allaient nous mettre dehors si on arrêtait pas de danser alors que nous dansions à côté de nos chaises & que pleins de monde au bar dansaient également.
J'avais réservé en ligne ( mauvaise idée )! ... lorsque nous sommes arrivé ! La table où ils voulaient nous installé ! en fait n'était pas bien situer ... désolé c'est la seule place pour deux que nous avons de disponible ..... l'hôtesse nous a suggérer de nous asseoir côté bar .. ce que nous avons fait ... & le résultat a été excellent ! Le serveur qui travaillait au bar ce soir la ! Était excellent ! La nourriture excellente , Seul bémol .. notre arrivé !
Bel accueil. Bons choix. Le dimanche, des huitres delicieuses a bon prix. Du crabe des neiges, du homard, du "bar de la Patagonie" la salade de crevettes, tout etait bien bon. Importation privee de vins, bon choix de bieres. Un rose delicat d'Espagne. Des churros & du gateau au chocolat. Tout etait trop bon.

Jarret de Prosciutto FANTASTIQUE! Ça font dans la bouche....pas besoin de couteau. Gnocchis maison succulant, frites a l'aneth delicieuses. Service impeccable. Nous avons réservé tôt pour éviter la foule & nous avons bien fait. Atmosphère festive, surtout en bas près du bar. Plus tranquille en haut tôt dans la soirée. Bref, nous étions très satisfaits!
