Founded in 1889 by Joseph Bourdeau & Daniel Hatton, The Boating Club of Ste-Rose was the most renowned nautical club in the region. Located next to the Plessis-Bélair Bridge, near the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles, the club was mostly composed of English-speaking Montreal vacationers. The club organized regattas and social evenings as well as balls in the "Club House". 125 years later, with the initiative of a Bourdeau (as in 1889) and his group of friends, The Boating Club comes back to life! In this great project we find, among others, the group of co-owners of the Philemon Bar in Old Montreal. Zébulon Perron, the designer behind enormous success such as, Grinder, La Buvette à Simone, Furco. Francis Lorrain from Boucherie Lorrain in Rosemère and Gary Sousa our captain.

Taken together, Le Boating Club is viewed as a standout option in the area for quality food, strong service, and a vibrant atmosphere, with the caveat that it can be loud and busy at peak times.
Can get a bit noise cause there are DJs on fridays & saturdays. Good service the staff is super friendly & efficient. Food is AMAZING! 🤩 had to scrape the plate with the gnocchi creamy sauce! Little pricey overall but you get what you pay for.
Also no parking but valet service available. You can easily park on the streets on the other side of the boulevard.
This place was AMAZING I recommend a thousand times. The food was 10000/10. The whipped feta was to die for especially with the hot weather. The gnocchi OMGGGG we got two plates & we'd go back for these in winter for sure they were DELICIOUS. The service was so nice everyone kept checking on us & making sure we were satisfied. I'll be going back for sure

Came after the spa Finlandais for a quick bite, we were lucky to be served by Liane! She was great, very attentive & always present when you needed her. Very smiley & made the experience even better! We had the soup of the day, red cabbage & potato, gnocchi , burrata, & fried halloumi salad. We even indulged on the Sunday promotion for cocktail shrimp one dollar each! We ended the evening with a creme brûlée. Just delicious. No complaints here! Love the ambience & will be back soon.
Toujours un plaisir de faire un retour au source. L'idée des crevettes cocktails à 1$. . Le service, impeccable comme toujours. Le seul bémol était le tartare de boeuf. Sinon les gnocchis, escalopes, desserts, vino. Tout était à point & juste. #rocktheboat
Nul doute que le booting club se distingue par son décor & son atmosphère, Cependant j'ai été agréableablement surpris par la cuisine; les gnocchi en entrée étaient succulents & que dire de mon plat principal de raviolis au homard. Notre serveuse était patiente, attentionné & souriante. La carte des vins se veut élaborée & à la fois surprenante. Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée en bonne compagnie pour l'anniversaire de Roxy.
Quel beau & bon resto! La terrasse est superbe, l'ambiance est bonne, le service impeccable & la nourriture toujours excellente! Un incontournable du menu: les gnocchis maison!
Tous les invités ont passé une très belle soirée. Vous avez une très bonne équipe, allant de la réservation, aux attentions spéciales, le service toujours rapide & très courtois. Merci! Le petit bémol pour la salle privée qui rend la musique & conversations un tantinet cacophoniques. Tout le monde a grandement apprécié la qualité des plats servis du menu de groupe. Octopus, beef tartare & gnocchi were amazing.
Beef was good. Ravioli was fade & I really don't recommend them. They used to taste way better.

Le service était superbe comme d'habitude. Les huîtres chaudes en entrée; MIAMMMM! Les desserts; tous magnifiques. Les pâtes; gnocchi & ravioli étaient vraiment pas bons...je n'ai pas osé le dire à la serveuse mais nous n'avons vraiment pas aimé les deux assiettes de pâtes sur le menu.
This is the best spot to have a delicious dish & a great time! All the foods there are just amazing !!
The gnocchis are a must have !! They are so soft & tasty 🤤 !! You will not regret it!
Plus Sundays they have oysters at $1 each!
