Le Blueboy stands out for a retro vibe and a colorful, inventive lineup of ice creams, sorbets, sundaes, and treats like beignets and churros. Reviewers praise the vibrant flavors, the freshness of ingredients, the friendly and quick service, and a lively atmosphere that makes it a popular stop on Mont Royal. Favorites mentioned include mango sorbet, mojito sorbet, the Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, tiramisu ice cream, and guava based options, with many noting that flavors are refreshing and well balanced. There are occasional critiques of price value, sweetness level, or flavor balance, and some items such as a brownie in a sundae or certain sorbets receiving mixed opinions. A few comments point to long waits, limited indoor seating, and restrooms that could use attention, but the overall impression remains that the shop is charming and worth a visit for dessert lovers.
Such a cool place with so many unique ice cream flavours. Sometimes the menu can be a bit overwhelming because of so many choices but the staff is always inviting & ready to make suggestions. Its cool to try something different every time you go :) i personally really like the bloody mangonada but I definitely want to go back & try the watermelon bowl.
It's a great place with unique concept. The watermelon bowl ice cream we took was huge, & would be too much for one person, but should be sufficient for two. There is not much place. So, be ready to take out if it is crowded.
They don't offer watermelon bowls until May. I drove an hour to get here. I ordered one & threw it away after one bite. It tasted average. I'll come back when they have watermelon bowls.
I don't care about the price at all, I just want the watermelon bowl. Why give you 4 stars? First I didn't get the watermelon bowl I wanted & second the ice cream tasted average & too sweet.Ok, to be honest I just wanted to take a picture of the watermelon bowl & I didn't care about the taste at all.
If I buy the watermelon bowl in may I will give you a five star review

We visited Le Blueboy after hearing a lot of positive things about it. It was a weekend night, & as expected, the place was busy. Even so, we waited more than 10 minutes before a lady came to serve us. I have to say, the menu was pretty overwhelming, there were so many options, but without any pictures to help guide us, it became quite confusing. I found myself unsure of what to order, so I asked the employee for suggestions. The only thing I was sure about was the beignes since I saw a picture & ordered them right away. We also decided to try the Oreo milkshake, Les Tailles churros sundae with solo flavor (we swapped caramel salé for choco caramel), & the Fresa shortcake. The Halloween themed decorations added a nice touch to the atmosphere, & the service was friendly. But let's talk about the taste. Overall, I found the prices fair compared to similar places I've visited. I absolutely fell in love with the Orleans style beignes. they were soft, freshly made right in front of us, & just delicious. The milkshake was also really enjoyable, rich with Oreo flavor. However, the churros sundae was a bit of a letdown, good, but not particularly special. The churros themselves were on par with what you'd get at many other places, & the sundae didn't stand out for me. The Fresa shortcake was decent, but again, I wasn't too impressed by it. In hindsight, I wish I had gone for the sorbet Tiger's Blood, it seemed like a more unique option that might have given me a different experience. Despite this, overall, it was a good visit, & I'd definitely come back specifically for the beignes, which were the highlight of the night. I just hope they revamp their menu style so that it's easier to navigate, making it quicker for people to figure out what they want without feeling lost.
The presentation is lovely. The taste is very flavorful. It gets crowded at times with lines going through the door, but everything mixes pretty quick. Likely atmosphere. Wall art & decoration give off vivid esthetics with a touch of an old grove 70s rustic feel. Indoor & outdoor seating allows you to enjoy the temperature inside or catch a feel of the weather outdoors.
Cute spot for a quick & tasty dessert! The shop was decorated for fall/Halloween when we stopped by. I tried a twist of their salted caramel & Witch's Brew (apple & spices), I highly recommend it if it's available when you stop by! It was a yummy mix of fall flavors.
