Le Blueboy stands out for a retro vibe and a colorful, inventive lineup of ice creams, sorbets, sundaes, and treats like beignets and churros. Reviewers praise the vibrant flavors, the freshness of ingredients, the friendly and quick service, and a lively atmosphere that makes it a popular stop on Mont Royal. Favorites mentioned include mango sorbet, mojito sorbet, the Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, tiramisu ice cream, and guava based options, with many noting that flavors are refreshing and well balanced. There are occasional critiques of price value, sweetness level, or flavor balance, and some items such as a brownie in a sundae or certain sorbets receiving mixed opinions. A few comments point to long waits, limited indoor seating, and restrooms that could use attention, but the overall impression remains that the shop is charming and worth a visit for dessert lovers.
Highly impressed! I never like sorbet as it is too often too syrupy & sweet. This sorbet was icy, purely refreshing, with just the right amount of real fruit flavour & sweetness. The watermelon, strawberry mango twist was so refreshing! I could've eaten many more cups it was so so good!! One of the best icey treats i have ever had & i eat so so much ice cream🤣
The vanilla was also very good! Almost custard like in the best way, great vanilla flavour (you can see the vanilla bean specks) & not too sweet!
Everything was so impressive that i went up to order ANOTHER flavour (mojito) but it was sold out probably because it is so amazing.
I will miss this place so much when i leave montreal😭😞
I discovered this beautiful ice cream shop on Mont-Royal Avenue, & it was such a pleasant experience. The place itself is charming, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. They offer a wide range of ice cream flavors & sorbets, so there's definitely something for everyone. I ordered the mango sorbet, which was refreshing, flavorful, & perfectly balanced in sweetness. The staff was friendly & welcoming, & the overall vibe of the shop made the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you're in the neighborhood & craving a treat!

My friends went to this place for the mojito sorbet, then brought me, then I brought my friend.
The mojito sorbet is super refreshing out a hot day! It tastes exactly like a perfectly sweetened lemonade with mint. Definitely have to try :).
The pic is for the bloody mangue! That one was quite tasty. Refreshing mango & watermelon/strawberry flavour. Picture wise, this was more photogenic :).
I visited this ice cream shop the other day. The ice cream was decent, but quite sweet, it almost felt like drinking juice in the form of ice cream. I tried the mango flavor with strawberries, while my boyfriend chose the churros one. The churros didn't really taste like churros; it was more like baked dough. The chocolate flavor was less sweet, which I appreciated, but the mango was overwhelmingly sweet.
The place itself is cute, & the staff was friendly. Overall, it was okay.
I've been seeing this place all over Instagram, so gave it a shot & I'm glad I did! I got the Mangonada sundae & I really enjoyed the soft serve ice cream itself with the tajín. The combination of toppings like the compote & strawberries was delicious, but you need to build your bites carefully otherwise you end up with too much compote or tajín at the end. The tamarin candy also got a bit too hard.
I would definitely go back for the soft serve twist Mangue & Melon d'Eau Fraise on it's own; it was very refreshing!
The sorbet was amazing. The strawberries & the mango compote went well together. The tamarind candy was a bit hard to chew. But there was too much chamoy & takin put in mine that it made it hard to enjoy the overall flavour. If getting next time, I would ask for less of both.
On a sunny May afternoon, after browsing some local thrift shops & soaking in the colorful charm of Plateau Mont-Royal, I was craving something sweet, refreshing, & a little out of the ordinary. That's when I came across Le Blueboy, a retro-inspired ice cream shop that's a true hidden gem in Montreal.
Stepping inside feels like entering a tropical daydream-pastel-colored walls, vintage decor, & a fun, laid-back vibe that immediately sets the tone for a treat-yourself moment.
I ordered the Bloody Mangue, a swirl of mango & tiger's blood sorbet. The flavor was incredible-juicy, vibrant mango balanced with that nostalgic strawberry-watermelon kick from the tiger's blood. It was smooth, icy, & super refreshing. A perfect blend for a warm day, & totally satisfying for anyone who loves bold, fruity flavors.
Le Blueboy goes beyond your typical ice cream spot. With its creative flavor combinations, playful presentation, & Instagram-worthy desserts, it's a place where you can really indulge in something memorable.
I'll definitely be back to try their famous churros or the guava biscoff flavor that caught my eye.

Such a cool place with so many unique ice cream flavours. Sometimes the menu can be a bit overwhelming because of so many choices but the staff is always inviting & ready to make suggestions. Its cool to try something different every time you go :) i personally really like the bloody mangonada but I definitely want to go back & try the watermelon bowl.

Popped into this ice cream shop on a hot day & got the Mango flavoured one. It was extra delicious, it came with a swirl & only got the small cause the portions are big. Cute little spot & their decorations are cool too.
It's a place to buy happiness not only ice cream ❤️ the soft serve choices are amazing, creative, fresh & not too sweet. The flavours are perfectly combined, make sure to order them with two toppings. I tried the Bloody Mangonada & the Mocaccino (👌🏼chef's kiss) The team is extremely friendly & welcoming. I'll be back to try more 😋
I went to Blueboy this week & I wanted to share my expereince because it was a delight! I came with some friends because we saw their Platano Sundae announced on Instagam & we wanted to try it! When you go in, the ambiance of the place is just so summery & a little 60's nostalgic, & the music they were playing was really good! We were taken care of by two guys who were just so attentive, they answered our questions & guided us through the menu with attention to detail & were happy to re-explain stuff we did not understand. I got the platano sundae & it met expectations, the ice cream is so creamy & the caramel sauce was so good (I wish I could buy it separately). The staff was so nice, they even indulged us with a little chat while finishing our order, the mexican guy was so attentive, & always smiling, it honestly is a contagious mood! & my friends also told me the colombian one was really nice to them! It honestly is a very refreshing change of pace from most food places where all employees look miserable to be there, these guys were laughing with us, smiling all the way, all while doing a great job!! Blueboy should be proud of its staff, & their delicious ice creams! I'm definitely coming back to try the Mangonada that the staff recommended!
