Incredible service. Best Japanese food I've tried so far, fresh product. Sarina it's an incredible host, she has such a welcoming spirit plus you can truly feel how passionate she is about her job. I had a wonderful time at the restaurant, enjoying both the delicious food & the pleasant atmosphere. However, my experience took a negative turn after my meal. The individual I believe to be the manager approached me after I had already paid & insisted that I provide a larger tip than I had intended. We had to wait a considerable amount of time for our food to come out & we were unable to get anyones attention when we needed assistance. Therefore, I fail to comprehend why I was expected to give a more significant gratuity when the level of service we received was merely adequate.

Came for my birthday dinner, super cute ambiance. The shinji sour drink was SO good & pretty! Got the cauliflour bang bang, takoyaki & blossom tartare, would recommend them all. For sushi, we got flame & sea paradise. Flame was our favorite. I thought they forgot about my birthday but our waiter came at the very end with birthday shots! Very sweet touch. Overall, beautiful restaurant with yummy food & drinks.
Hello, I am writing in response to a one star google review I had left for your page. My partner & I had arrived at your restaurant last Friday & the service was horrible. Our server basically forgot to take our order, she told me there was no dessert but then, after a different table asked for dessert, indeed came over & told me the restaurant magically now had dessert .... We waited for the bill for a half an hour after asking & managed to get helped by a guy who worked there. I'm not sure who she is but she acted like us speaking English was inconvenient for her which is a huge accessibility issue. We had horrible service & it ruined the whole night.

We've been to this place twice, & every time, we had a great experience! If you go on a date or celebrate a special occasion with friends, this is a great place to choose from for sushi lovers. The quality food & service are more than satisfying. The place is not too noisy, you can communicate with people at your table. Reservation is strongly recommended, as the place gets filled out very quickly. The parking is on the street, free after 18h00. Overall, we had a great experience & would recommend this place to our friends.
Incredible experience! Went with my husband & had a great time, the cocktails were delicious & service was quick & good! The food itself was an experience, we started with fried cauliflower which was delicious & well served. For the main dishes we ordered 3 makis, with 5 large pieces each. Each Maki was served after the previous 5 pieces were eaten. Don't expect traditional sushi as that is not what the restaurant proposes in their menu. Shout-out to the incredible Oshi lobster, it was our favorite dish, delicious & well served. Looking forward to going again & trying other dishes.

Delicious, delicious sushi (from someone who has eaten sushi all over Montreal)! We got the Smoke, Phoenix & the Flame makis + the Blossom tartare. I'm still thinking about their sushi as I'm eating my lunch the day after 🤤 Service was excellent & the drinks were very tasty as well (Ghost 2.0 & Akira). I'm definitely returning again!
This place was amazing! I will recommend to friends when they visit Montréal. The decor is great, music was good but would have liked a more ambient sound. The food presentation is beautiful, & I don't know what is in the sauce for the gyoza but it's amazing!! Do try it! Sorry for the blurry gyoza photo!

Wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere. We had a reservation that had a hiccup, but they had no problem seating us at the bar. The cocktails were delicious, I recommend the Shinji Sour! Our waiter was super nice, & he always came just at the right time. Food was also prompt! The food was absolutely delicious too! Recommend the Sakura Timeout Maki & the califlower bites! The fried chicken was very good, but also not the more stand out, go for the recommendations! The place is on the more expensive side, but you get what you pay for, not overpriced at all. It's the perfect spot for a date out, & I'll definitely be returning.
Tous mes sens ont été comblés! Nourriture succulente & superbement présentée, musique agréable permettant de se parler sans avoir à crier, service attentionné... Je recommande fortement & j'y retournerais sans hésiter!
They took 6 of us in last minute which I really appreciated! The food was honestly out of this world. Can't remember having fresh fish like this in Montreal! Decor is also beautiful, staff was efficient & courteous & the drinks were amazing!
