Since it opened in 1931, the Centre Eaton de Montréal’s iconic 9th floor restaurant has been known by Montrealers as “le neuvième”.
With La Grande Salle’s high ceiling and elegant architectural lines, Le 9e was among the first Art Deco interiors in the Province of Quebec, and is classified as a historic monument by the Ministry of Culture.
Lying dormant for twenty four years, Le 9e’s reopening in 2024 honours the past and embraces the future.

La salle est un endroit exceptionnel. C'est en plus facile pour souper, avec timeout Market tout près, sinon le restaurant du neuvième. J'ai adoré ma soirée!

Je tiens à exprimer toute ma gratitude à l'équipe du 9e la suite d'un événement réussi. Tout a été impeccable, de la planification au service le jour même, ceci a largement contribué à la réussite de cette soirée d'anniversaire. Je souhaite particulièrement souligner le travail remarquable de Jonathan dont le professionnalisme & l'attention aux détails ont été grandement appréciés. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour cette soirée inoubliable !

We've had high tea here during the day. It's an exquisite building! We also attended a Fever Candlelight event in the grand salon. A beautiful evening spent with my parents.

The 9 was a amazing experience first of all the atmosphere was incredible with amazing cutlery & amazing decor secondly the service was absolutely exceptional with all the staff being amazingly kind to everyone then there is the food the food was amazing with so many to choose from & there being foods for vegetarians & people with dietary restrictions also the desserts are absolutely exceptional too this place is perfect for big family dinners & it's one of the best spots in Montreal I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a classy dinner with family & friends.

Le spectacle de Candel light de Charlie Brown de Noël était juste magique dans cette salle. La décoration & l'ambiance vaut vraiment la peine.
