Cet endroit est vraiment unique en son genre, nous avons passé une superbe soirée très bien animés par les fils de flûtes. Les plats étaient excellents nous avons tous très bien manger, je conseil absolument de l'essayer au moins une fois.
Everything about our dinner was amazing. Service was attentive for a large group, food & drinks were delicious & the entertainment was one of a kind. One of the best dining experiences we have ever had, I can't recommend it enough!
Une de mes meilleurs expériences en restaurant sur Montréal. L'ambiance est incroyable, nous sommes plongés dans une taverne médiévale qui respecte tous les codes du moyen âge ! Des troubadours, des taverniers investis dans leur rôle mais surtout une nourriture digne à en faire baver plus d'uns.
C'est plus qu'un simple repas, c'est une expérience ! & mention spéciale à notre tavernière Blanche qui nous a régalé ainsi au aux jumeaux troubadours qui nous ont fait rire toute la soirée grâce à leur créativité musicale !
We discovered this place while looking for a traditional meat pie. Get a reservation for the immersive indoor experience, or drop in like we did to dine outdoors under lilacs (we caught them in bloom). The accommodated iur fluency in the'Saxon tongue' seamlessly.

Une expérience vraiment incroyable ! Nous avons été servis par Béatrix qui a rendu cette soirée magique ! La cuisine était parfaite, nous avons opté pour les 2 menus de gargantua sur les conseils de Béatrix où nous avons pu goûter à toutes les spécialités, MIAM ! Nous étions un groupe de 4 adultes & 2 enfants. Les portions sont énormes.
En plus les enfants ont demandé quand le chevalier allait venir, il devait malheureusement pas être présent ce soir là mais Béatrix à fait marcher ses contact & nous en a trouvé un pour le plus grand bonheur des enfants !
Un énorme merci pour l'accueil, la bonne ambiance & la cuisine. Tout était merveilleux, nous reviendrons ça c'est certain !!

Went for a weekend birthday & had a great night, the staff was amazing & in-character, the troubadours were skillfull & energetic, there was banter, there was laughter, lots of glass clanking & table-hammering. It's not for the faint of heart (& ears)! Expect to be made a fool of, you come in as a stranger, & will leave as a friend.
Be aware that the animation is in old-timey French!
They are very acommodating for celiac people, & pay good attention to make it gluten-free.
There is also vegetarian options, but the menu for no meat isn't very big.
However! My pet peeve is that the cuisine is...modern.
- Chocolate cake for dessert?
- Rice with coleslaw in the Gargantuan?
- Burger on the menu?
- Last time I went there was also potato fries/chips served. Hmmmmm ....
So, aside from a copious amount of meat, don't expect a very authentic culinary experience, even though it IS all delicious, the meats especially. But I just don't know why they'd not go for something like custard tarts or honey cakes to match, or even just an apple pie as a dessert, to fit the rest of the night's vibe. I think there is a opportunity missed to take more inspiration from the many surviving dishes of past times.
Like food served on a trencher, or even iconic à là Lord of the Rings, it's just that my tastebuds take me out of the fantasy... .
Nous étions 7 & avons passé une excellente soirée, nous avions réservé pour le souper de 17 heurs 30 & en masse le temps de manger & profité de l'ambiance. Le personnel est tout simplement adorable, c'est très chaleureux ont ce croirait dans une grande famille. J'ai ADORÉ, MERCI A L'AUBERGE DU DRAGON ROUGE.
Super ambiance, les troubadours sont exceptionnels. La thématique est superbe aussi, merci à Chopin notre serveur. La prix est un peu cher, mais c'est largement justifié pas l'animation.
