I walked in at 18:00 just as they opened on a Saturday, I was greeted in a warm & very friendly way by Alessandro. The ambiance felt relaxed, the italian music really promoted the vibe they are cultivating. The place is neatly decorated & very clean. The service under Alessandro was impecable(the recommendations we're spot on, the time he took telling me about himself, the restaurant, the chef, the food & the history was very enjoyable. Free humor included.), the service was fast through out (without making you feel rushed)the evening even as the place got busier. The BYOW is a neat perk that I appreciated here. You could tell that the chef loves what he does, they make all their food from scratch even the desserts, bread, the edible decorations at the table & of course the pastas. I order the carpaccio, the filet mignon raviolis & the cheesecake all of which we're sublime in there quality, texture & taste. It was the best cheesecake, raviolis & carpaccio I ever had in Montreal. Chef Paolo is a true artist & deservers the greatest compliments for his work. The menu changes often which offers variety & new creations at every visit. It was a memorable experience, I cannot wait to come back with friends & family. I wish for all to have the opportunity to try this lovely place atleast once. Side note: Plenty of parking for all the guests, the ability to have certain items on the menu prepared for you in advance for pick up( you can call Alessandro to have the whole cheesecake made just for you if call in advance), the complimentary items given to you during the service( I myself got 2 small cookies that we're amazing).

I had my first visit at this restaurant on June 13th. I was so impressed by the homemade pasta that was just delicious, the outstanding flavours, even the cheesecake was a surprise as it truly is the «best in Montreal» as they say, or at least the best I ever tasted ! Service was amazing, even chef Paulo came to chat with us, explaining his process & sharing his clear passion for his food. The restaurant & the kitchen is spotless, each plate is beautifully presented, everything was just perfect. I will 100% visit this restaurant again very soon !

It's a charming little restaurant. Very warm welcome, Alessandro & the chef are passionate about what they do. We noticed everything was very clean, the utensils, the bathroom, the floor. You can tell they are attentive to every details. We got the suggestion to try an entrée of very tender veal with tuna mayonnaise sauce. It was amazing with the homemade bread. For the main dish, we tried the homemade ravioli & the veal. Both were really delicious. We will return for sure!
This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I have a gluten intolerance, so I have become accustomed to leaving restaurant outings hungry, as gluten-free options are often limited & I'm the only one of my family & friends, therefore it often gets overlooked. Well, let me tell you, I was treated LIKE A QUEEN. I was able to enjoy everything & Chef Paolo even came out to discuss my dietary needs to make sure everything is ok & to give me options for how I would like my veal cooked. WOW! That level of care & attention was truly exceptional
Everyone in our party was amazed by the quality & taste of the food. We are an Italian family that cooks homemade authentic Italian food, so we're not easily impressed. Each meal earned a 10/10 as did my gluten-free meal. Everything was served at the perfect temperature & was absolutely delicious.
Alessandro was checking on everyone & chatting like he knew us forever. What an absolute delight, this was a perfect evening. Beautiful restaurant, outstanding food & amazing staff.
I highly recommend this hidden gem in Lasalle. Looking forward to my next date night with my hubby. I will be making reservations here!

After having several opportunities to visit this place-highly recommended by many-I finally went tonight, & it exceeded my expectations.
I had the homemade cavatelli with wild mushrooms & buffalo, followed by a plate of fettuccine with a superb ragù. The desserts were phenomenal. The cheesecake was exactly as described-the best in the city & certainly the best I've ever had. I also tried Paolo's apple dessert, which was equally divine.
The service from Alessandro was both personal & professional. You can truly see how much they love what they do-the passion for their food is unmistakable. Chef Paolo himself comes out to explain the dishes & share his enthusiasm, which makes the experience even more special.
I'm genuinely happy to see that there are still a few truly excellent restaurants in Montreal. Although it's a bit out of the way in LaSalle, it is absolutely worth the drive-especially compared to the repeated disappointments found elsewhere in the city.
