I walked in at 18:00 just as they opened on a Saturday, I was greeted in a warm & very friendly way by Alessandro. The ambiance felt relaxed, the italian music really promoted the vibe they are cultivating. The place is neatly decorated & very clean. The service under Alessandro was impecable(the recommendations we're spot on, the time he took telling me about himself, the restaurant, the chef, the food & the history was very enjoyable. Free humor included.), the service was fast through out (without making you feel rushed)the evening even as the place got busier. The BYOW is a neat perk that I appreciated here. You could tell that the chef loves what he does, they make all their food from scratch even the desserts, bread, the edible decorations at the table & of course the pastas. I order the carpaccio, the filet mignon raviolis & the cheesecake all of which we're sublime in there quality, texture & taste. It was the best cheesecake, raviolis & carpaccio I ever had in Montreal. Chef Paolo is a true artist & deservers the greatest compliments for his work. The menu changes often which offers variety & new creations at every visit. It was a memorable experience, I cannot wait to come back with friends & family. I wish for all to have the opportunity to try this lovely place atleast once. Side note: Plenty of parking for all the guests, the ability to have certain items on the menu prepared for you in advance for pick up( you can call Alessandro to have the whole cheesecake made just for you if call in advance), the complimentary items given to you during the service( I myself got 2 small cookies that we're amazing).

It's a charming little restaurant. Very warm welcome, Alessandro & the chef are passionate about what they do. We noticed everything was very clean, the utensils, the bathroom, the floor. You can tell they are attentive to every details. We got the suggestion to try an entrée of very tender veal with tuna mayonnaise sauce. It was amazing with the homemade bread. For the main dish, we tried the homemade ravioli & the veal. Both were really delicious. We will return for sure!

Many thanks to chefs Paolo & Alessandro & staff for their greeting & generosity. Breadsticks, bread, pasta all made in house with original menu creations rounded our experience with great success. We will return as with the seasonal changes to their menu items.

From the moment you step inside, you're welcomed like family. The host Alessandro makes you feel right at home, & the warm, inviting atmosphere sets the perfect tone for an unforgettable dining experience.

The food is simply outstanding. Every dish is made from scratch with true passion & artistry. The homemade pastas are on another level, perfectly fresh, cooked to perfection, & paired with sauces that are bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the mains, the bread, & the desserts, everything is crafted with care & attention to detail. You can truly taste the love that the Italian Chef Paolo puts into his work.

Dining here feels like being transported straight to Italy. It's the kind of place where every bite leaves you wanting more, & where you can tell that Chef Paolo is a master of his craft.

Really delicious homemade food! This is fresh Italian pasta done properly. We tried the lunch menu, which was excellent, & it made us curious to come back for supper eventually since that menu has even more variety.

I also have to give a special mention to the bread. The baguette served at the beginning had a crisp coating of toasted flour, giving the entire outer crust such an enjoyable crunch. Inside, the bread was unbelievably soft, moist, & fresh.

Upon entering the restaurant Alexandro greeted us by name & made us feel at home. The decor is clean & warm. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or a night out with friends.
Sevice was on point did not feel rushed did not have to request anything. Alexandro explained the menu in detail & checked in on us periodically throughout the evening.
The food was spectacular
Deconstructed Cesar salad & eggplant involtini stuffed with fior di latte mozzarella & porchetta served with bechamel sauce as entrees.
Tagliatelle with mixed wild mushrooms & fresh artichokes & Ravioli stuffed with lobster served with cherry tomatoes & zucchini as main meal.
Homemade pasta, bread & breadsticks
Cheescake with fresh fruit as dessert.
The gem: it is a bring your own wine, so you can pair your own meal.

I might be one of the last of lasallers to discover this wonderful restaurant, but I can't help but share my experience! Recently, we visited L'artisan de la Pasta for a mini date aka birthday celebration. This charming, family-friendly spot instantly made us feel at home. Our server was incredibly pleasant, adding to the warm atmosphere. I can confidently say that the homemade pasta at L'artisan de la Pasta is simply out of this world! I was so immersed in the delightful flavors of the pasta, fresh bread, & the overall ambiance that I forgot to take photos, which seems to be a common theme among other reviewers too. If you're looking for a cozy place to enjoy authentic Italian pasta, I highly recommend L'artisan de la Pasta. You won't be disappointed!
