I found the bread baguette a little bit chewy
& the croissants too fluffy. Comparatively with another place les Pains d'Epi on St Antoine better. My taste is for a baguette which is crusty outside but tender inside & for a croissant not too buttery which is melting in your mouth instead of too fluffy. Just my 2 cents

I tried some of their products on a Christmas market as the pain au chocolat that was delicious!

On my last visit, the quality disappointed me: the bread was served cold & there was hardly any seating. The tables were dirty, littered with dishes & uncollected trash. We ordered hot chocolate, which was served cold & covered in large bubbles of unmelted chocolate powder.

I know they have potential, but my last visit didn't leave a good impression & I probably wouldn't go back.

I usually love l'amour du pain du pain but the croissant I tried were one of the worst I've had in a while. Not crispy, not flaky nor buttery, even in the oven. It was a big disappointment because I used to go often but on the one on the south sore.

Customer service was fine but what really troubled me was the bread. When I opened the bag there were wholes everywhere 🥲. Half of the bread is air… I sadly didn't keep the receipt or I might've gone back to see what could be done.

Not worthy of the l'amour du pain brand/name which is supposed to be a premium bakery.
