About us

Neighborhood restaurant, offering imaginative local cuisine prepared with quality ingredients.

Previously found at this address was a fire station exclusive to Shop Angus. Today, it is still a barrack but one where we eat, converted into trendy bar-restaurant and friendly.

Behind the red brick facade: a high ceiling, a subdued atmosphere with an industrial feel. Outside, the terrace reveals a great chic space for meeting friends.

Nouveau restaurant avec un décor & ambiance impressionnants, ancienne caserne de pompiers remaniée, on s'y plait tout naturellement. Avec le resto Station F en face (plein ce midi-là) il est agréable d'avoir enfin un choix dans ce quartier en évolution.

Serveuse avec un charmant sourire, mais qui manquait d'expérience malheureusement & ne semblait pas du genre à en acquérir rapidement. Rien de dramatique & le commerce vient d'ouvrir.

J'ai commandé un Fish n'chips qui était absolument délicieux.Savoureux, croustillant, léger & d'une fraicheur... Un peu comme on rêve de s'en faire servir près du quai d'un port de pêche anglais. Le problème c'est que la portion était loin de satisfaire son client, encore moins un pompier. Deux minuscules doigts & une petite frite & un verre d'eau, c'est tout. Pour $15 un midi, pas l'aubaine du siècle. & le verre de vin (les prix sont corrects)pas généreux non plus,un fond calculé, à l'avantage de la maison bien sûr...

Des ajustements suivront, car il est évident que ce resto possède des atouts majeurs dans ce quartier résidentiel de l'est plus ou moins bien servi par la gastronomie. Mais peu importe, personne n'aime retourner chez-soi ou au bureau avec une faim qui continue à nous gruger...
