Previously found at this address was a fire station exclusive to Shop Angus. Today, it is still a barrack but one where we eat, converted into trendy bar-restaurant and friendly.

Behind the red brick facade: a high ceiling, a subdued atmosphere with an industrial feel. Outside, the terrace reveals a great chic space for meeting friends.

La place & l'ambiance sont effectivement assez jolies. Or, les portions sont relativement petites.
De plus, ma femme & moi avons pris le menu du chef/jour (68$ par personne) &, ça valait pas ça. Entrées & repas, les portions étaient assez petites. & j'ai été déçu de mon risotto aux'fruits de mer'... il y avait un pétoncle de grosseur assez moyenne, des crevettes nordiques qui étaient sur le dessus froides par rapport au reste & des moules qui étaient mal nettoyées (je croquais à répétition des petits trucs très durs).
& pour le service, on avant bien spécifié que ma femme était intolérante aux produits laitiers & au gluten pour le dessert &, bien qu'elle nous ait dit qu'elle verrait avec le chef, son dessert avait de la crème. & on a attendu longtemps avant de pouvoir demander la facture (seul notre serveur peut l' imprimer & notre serveuse faisait les drinks d'une grosse table). De plus, notre thé a été chargé en plus sur l'addition finale de 180$.

Had a really nice experience at Labarake! We sat outside on their terrace, which had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. 🌿🍷 Our waitress took very good care of us. She was friendly & attentive, & took the time to explain the evening's menu & the wine selections.

I ordered the mushroom risotto & added the braised beef for an extra charge. The risotto was creamy, flavorful & full of mushrooms, & the braised beef was very tender & went perfectly with it. 🍄🥩

Overall, delicious food, excellent service & a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening & I would definitely come back! ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?

This was my 1st time at this restaurant & I truly loved it. The food was Amazing & the atmosphere was cozy & relaxing. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is due to a few issues with regards to the service which could be easily improved, most likely by a server lacking experience. However, they should offer sugar replacements something that is common in most establishments. Will definitely be returning again.

Polite, efficient service, nice terrasse.
I enjoyed my duck arancini though I couldn't really taste the duck. The pudding chômeur was typical but good. Wine suggestions were good as well.
