Had a nice experience here! The bibimbap & kimchi tofu soup were really delicious & definitely the highlights of the meal. The beef short ribs were also quite good-flavorful & well cooked.
The only downside was the fried chicken. It wasn't very crispy, & oddly, it had a slightly bitter taste. Not sure what caused that. Other than that, everything else was enjoyable!
I work nearby & had heard about La Table de Jo from colleagues, so I finally gave it a try. As a Vietnamese, I was honestly surprised I hadn't come across this spot earlier.
The staff stood out right away. Super friendly, making the effort to speak French & even double-checking our order to make sure everything was right. It felt thoughtful & genuine.
I went for the midi combo with fried chicken, & it's exactly what you want for lunch. A full plate with variety: crispy chicken with different sauces, rice, salad, dumplings, kimchi, plus a soup on the side. It feels complete without being complicated.
What I liked most is having multiple textures & flavors in one plate. Crunchy, fresh, spicy, comforting. It makes the meal more interesting from start to finish.
Solid spot for a satisfying, no-stress lunch. I'll definitely be back.
Great location, delicious authentic Korean cuisine, I was particularly interested by the lunch special (daily from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm) which comes with 4 combos, all under 17$ & even includes miso soup as well! For dessert, you have to try the ice cream croffle!
I eat Korean food regularly but this time I had doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste soup) & hotteok (sweet Korean pancake) that I had never tried before & it was a revelation, both were so good ! Friendly & professionnal staff. The bill was under 25$ after tax but before tips, which is nice too. I will definitely be back !
Great place to enjoy Korean cuisine.
I took their soup, the Korean army stew & I never thought I would enjoy SPAM ... But the spices of the soup made it really tasty.
The lunch combo are also quite affordable & varied. The service is great even if a bit slow when they are a lot of people since it's one cook & one waitress doing all the work.
Definitely we'll be back, so many menu item to try 😋
Nourriture très bonne & service impeccable 👌Je recommande leur soupe Miso, Bimbimbap & le croffle au désert!
Nice place & cordial service. & most importantly, the food was good. Love their soup.

Very nice place with authentic cooking. Cordial service as well. Love their soup.
Souper très bon & aliments frais!
Très abordable même pour une famille de 4.
One of the most delicious Korean restaurants we have been to hands down! Every single dish is incredibly tasty, & the service is amazing too. Everyone is very friendly & the service is very fast. We shared a few appetizers & 2 meals (the bulgogi bbq & the ddukbul soup) & everything was very delicious! We will definitely be adding this to our list of go-to restaurants.
The place is very cozy with ambient light. Place is small-medium if you are wondering.
For entrance we had miso soup & salad with in house sauce. Personally the sweetish sauce is not my thing so I gave to my colleague.
Main dish, we pretty much took each of one in our group & the beef/chicken dish with, tomatoes/ananas/bean were the best. Meat were juicy. We also end up ordering extras because it tasted so good.
For dessert I took the waffle, ice cream with syrup. It's honestly great, the crunchy crust & soft inside were greatly executed.
However, the steamed bun with red bean is bad & you can taste it's from frozen product that has been steamed again. Would suggest to change to 4 smaller bun instead of a very large one.
Overall we will come back again.
Our new favourite Korean restaurant in Montreal
Excellent food & service
Loved the soups & bbq bugogi dish.
So many other items to try.
Will be back for sure.
Nice choices of Korean Soju (alcoholic beverage) as well.
Environment is nice, but food portion is small, & the tastes are too bland for Korean soup. Before we start our meal, a dead bug is found on our napkins & cutleries, & the server just brushed it off, without making any compensation for that unpleasant experience.
