Amazing food & cozy authentic vibe! Great service too. We went with a big group & had many different dishes & drinks & they were all really great. 10/10!!!
Everything was excellent & well priced. We had best tacos we've had in MTL : Tacos carnitas & Tacos el pescador were extremely fresh & abundant. Drinks were great. I had Tamarindo margarita & horchata. 10/10!!! Definitely recommend!

Great mexican food in Montreal! Delicious cocktails & a wide selection of drinks (bar tender was more than happy to make me a paloma but substituting mezcal for tequila, which is delish). Got the tacos jeffe & they were delicious, & the tres leches looked amazing (too full to try it). Great service, nice ambience, wonderful food.
The staff is very attentive, charismatic & friendly. The food is authentic & delicious! The place is small & cozy, with a family atmosphere that will make you go back & bring more friends & family to discover this local gem !
The Chefs are friendly & mostly, very talented & passionate! All the flavors they create are worth 5 stars & are sure to make you travel to the sunny country where they find their origins.
The tacos are heavenly, & make sure to give the'Pulpo' a shot, you won't regret!
Sometimes we go for just a Pulpo appetizer & a drink.
My Partner & I always have the best time there, & leave feeling like we come back from a nice Mexican Vacation...
Kid & Family friendly !
Gracias a todo el Equipo!!!
Un abrazo de parte de Michelle, Pascal, y bebe Lia ;-)
It's my first time in Montreal, & I had Lunch with my husband at La Selva. The food & drinks were both delicious! The service was fantastic! Our server was very attentive & friendly. Would definitely recommend!
Loved the cozy atmosphere! The pulpo a la plancha looked great but lacked flavor. Tacos were okay but small & could've been tastier. Drinks were the highlight, & service was excellent.
Small Mexican restaurant with delicious food & friendly service. The drinks were made with fresh ingredients (no margarita mix!), the food was so tasty & the staff were very friendly. Would recommend making a reservation as it's small inside.
Super experience at La Selva!! Food was delicious & drinks were on point. The ambience was relaxed, festive, & cozy. The team was friendly & went above & beyond to accommodate us. We were a large group of 20 people for a surprise birthday party & the space was perfect for us. Thank you so much for everything! We've found a new favorite neighborhood spot, & we'll be back again soon.
This is one of my favourite restaurants. The food & drinks are amazing. Everyone is super friendly & our waitress Paola was very personable. I'll keep coming back 😁
Came here for my birthday dinner with a few friends. Although they didn't really have notice to do anything about it, they didn't really have anything in store for my birthday so it was just a regular dinner. Not that I had expectations but it is always nice when a restaurant does a little extra something out of acknowledgment for a birthday, it made me think that another restaurant would have been a better choice for my birthday. Mexican food is some of my favourite though which is why I chose this place. The prices are alright. Menu has mid-level of variety, a bit more than just tacos & burritos but not much more. The overall quality is not bad but not impressive either. I think the high ratings for this place are not reflective of this. For the prices they are charging it's reasonable food. I ordered a Mojito & I have to say that drink was pretty amazing though. Pretty rare I like a drink more than my actual meal but this was the case here.

Service was a bit slow, & the drinks were OK. But the food made up for all of that! This is a fantastic restaurant to dine at! I really enjoyed the ceviche & steak tacos. The quac is sooooo fresh & delicious!

We were headed to a different restaurant. Walked by LaSelva. We went to the other restaurant & had an appetizer. Was not impressed, by the service or cost of drinks. Also the menu was in French which was fine but one waitress told us to take a picture of it & translate it…..wow
Decided we would walk back to La Selva for dinner. So glad we did. They were full, we were going to leave but the kind waitress said we could sit at the bar. The lady at the bar was so nice to us. A table came available, I asked if we could sit there. The owner of the restaurant came & cleaned it (that doesn’t happen in any place I have been too). We sat & ordered a delicious meal. I ordered quesadillas, was not excepting the rice & salad that came with it. It was so much food. My Husband had the Gringo? He could not even finish it, & he usually can.
The owner came & chatted with us. He speaks English, Spanish, & French & so do the other employees.
What I really liked is the menu was in French & English. Did not find that in many restaurants.
It’s a small but quaint restaurant, service is amazing & the employees were amazing. The owner was saying he took it over about 6 months ago.
So next time your in the area of Montreal 862 Rue Marie-Anne Est
& like Mexican food give it a try. So worth it
