I went in an hour befor closing time to pick up 3 dishes for the habs game. The owner was so friendly & kind, a child with her mom came in & the little guy wanted a cookie so the owner handed him one on the house, & lets just say he wasn't the only one smiling. Food was delicious too! I'll definitely be going back as much as I can.
We are new to the neighbourhood & came across this nice place. They are very friendly & you can feel the community focused atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back!
Ordered the prosciutto sandwich. Nothing special. Bread was mid, prosciutto had no taste & too much honey. Not worth the price point. Just being honest.
Absolutely obsessed with La Scacciata 🤍
I ordered the truffle mushroom pizza & it was *pure dream* fresh, insanely flavorful, & so generous. The dough was unbelievably soft… honestly the best I've had in the city.
Also tried the arancini ball stuffed with beef sauce & cheese WOW. Served with a rich, generous sauce & topped with their in house truffle mayo, it felt like such a luxurious treat.
Everything was beyond delicious. A must-try
Amazing food: the sandwiches, meat balls & arancini are fantastic. Worth every penny
I love encouraging family businesses! Especially when you can tell the owner takes pride in their restaurant/café.
Very clean
Sarah is sweet
Owner ( I assume ) was a very well-groomed, kind & big-hearted type person, very generous & passionate.
We were lucky to try multiple flavours for the pizza. The spicier one being our favourite!
I would return!
I will give a critical comment however
1. The music was slightly too loud considering it was a Y2K throwback ( amazing set list but distracting for anyone who wants to read/laptop )
2. My stomach is sensitive so the pizza although nice, was a bit too oily, & I kept having to wipe my hands - & slightly cold
I would return to try pastries & drinks however - it was very nice!
Much love
& thank you!
Excellent food & family-friendly. We always feel welcomed as if we were family. Very cute decor & reasonable prices. Highly recommend!
