Came across this place while walking from Marché Atwater, & it was such a great experience. I loved the food & the place. The owner is such a sweet guy, & I really enjoyed their pizza & sandwiches. Definitely recommend it.

Absolutely obsessed with La Scacciata 🤍

I ordered the truffle mushroom pizza & it was *pure dream* fresh, insanely flavorful, & so generous. The dough was unbelievably soft… honestly the best I've had in the city.

Also tried the arancini ball stuffed with beef sauce & cheese WOW. Served with a rich, generous sauce & topped with their in house truffle mayo, it felt like such a luxurious treat.

Everything was beyond delicious. A must-try

I love encouraging family businesses! Especially when you can tell the owner takes pride in their restaurant/café.

Very clean
Sarah is sweet
Owner ( I assume ) was a very well-groomed, kind & big-hearted type person, very generous & passionate.

We were lucky to try multiple flavours for the pizza. The spicier one being our favourite!

I would return!

I will give a critical comment however

1. The music was slightly too loud considering it was a Y2K throwback ( amazing set list but distracting for anyone who wants to read/laptop )

2. My stomach is sensitive so the pizza although nice, was a bit too oily, & I kept having to wipe my hands - & slightly cold

I would return to try pastries & drinks however - it was very nice!

Such a tasty shop! Pizza & sandwiches taste so fresh & clean. Ingredients shipped from Italy. Everything about this store is so warm & authentic. Definitely a must try!
