C'est le secret le mieux gardé à côté de la rue wellington. Acceuil chaleureux, salade césar excellente, pizza delicieuse avec une super croute. Le plus difficile en restauration est la constance...& La Pidz nailed it!! Pas encore crowdé le midi....mais jusqu'à quand! A chaque fois que je travaille dans'l'coin j'arrête pour le lunch!! Le décor est juste a point! Ca donne le feeling d'un old school diner mais avec une touche moderne cool! Merci

A Perfect Harmony of Flavour & Ambiance
Tucked away on a quiet city corner in Verdun, La Pidz feels like a secret you're glad to have discovered. Warm lighting, soft italian background music helps set a tone, both elegant & inviting. It's the kind of place where you can relax & truly let the experience unfold.
We shared a Penne & a Pizza. Each dish crafted with care, refined flavours. For dessert a delicate terra misuse.
Service was attentive without being intrusive.

We have been wanting to go since it opened & we finally did! We invited our friend from out of town & we had so much fun. There is a family atmosphere, the food was home cooked & the service was impeccable ! There is also a nice variety of dishes (not only pizza). The pasta was perfectly cooked & the cannolis delicious ! We will definitely return to our neighborhood resto.

Mixed feelings about our meal.
Started with the Polpette which was delicious & enough for 5 of us to taste.
Next was the Calamari which was chewy, therefore overcooked. Not impressed.
The Calabrese pizza didn't really have much flavor. Only after asking for pepper & hot pepper oil did it give it a little more flavor.
Others loved their selection, which is why I have mixed reactions.
We felt slightly ignored, even if we were very few in the restaurant. For example, we were given an empty oil bottle so I had to replace it myself.
Loved the decor, but my first experience just didn't give me the oomph needed to make me crave another experience.
I love the concept & I might give them another chance down the road.

I love this place. Pizza is super good, & recently I tried a cocktail - & really liked it, too. The waiters are really professional there, & once more, the pizza is awesome
Upd: apparently, the really nice & professional waiter doesn't work there anymore. The last time I went the service was really disappointing & honestly, I don't quite want to go back:( a take-lur place for me now
UPD: revisited again after the restaurant contacted me. The service was better but still not as good as it once was. All in all, not a bad place for a family dinner. But if I could wish something for this place - is to improve the atmosphere by finding nice & friendly waiters & letting go of those who don't really care

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while walking in this neighbourhood. A stellar upbeat vibe, drinks were to die for, tasty Caesar salad & perfect Margherita pizza. Service was attentive too. Definitely recommend

Always a fun time here, Amy our bartender was super sweet & fun also made us amazing espresso martinis & we ordered pizza to go. Definitely coming back !

This place has real charm. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting, & the staff are incredibly friendly, I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I walked in.
It's an ideal spot for a date if you love pizza, but honestly, it works just as well for any kind of outing. I've already recommended it to all my pizza-loving friends.

We started with some arancini as an appetizer, & their gnocchi poutine piqued our curiosity, so we had to try that too! I mean, fried gnocchi with gravy & cheese curds definitely sounded interesting to us!
The pizza selection is nice & varied, with options that are very filling. Each slice was a blend of flavors, & we left quite satisfied! (Even had leftovers to enjoy later.) We couldn't resist checking out their dessert offerings, but we will have to go back to indulge in those sweet treats.
To complement our meal, they offer a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, & even non-alcoholic cocktails.

After eating a pizza ordered Arancini, & stomach was only half full, Wich is excellent, most places get you heavy & bloated, these leave space so you can get home :)

La croûte de la pizza est délicieuse, parfaite &'to die for'. Les polpettes étaient délicieuses & goûteuses mais un peu épicées. Le serveur était ultra sympa. Il y a peu de choix de vin au verre. On y retourne .. Pour la pizza & la meilleure croûte.

les personnes qui y travaillent sont vraiment gentil ! Allez y les yeux fermé si tu voulez manger une bonne pizza. & si vous êtes en soirée & que vous savez pas quoi manger sortez de chez vous aller au 350 rue strathmore, Verdun, & votre problème sera résolut, mais en plus de ça nous pouvons vous garantir personnellement que vous aller passez une bonbe soirée 👌

Absolutely ridiculous prices. Went with a group & I paid 61$ including the 18% tip (yeah, because lowest tip on the machine is 18% for some reason. wtf) . It was a fixed price. Paying 61$ for pizza & a few appetizers is actually a joke. Didn't take any drink by the way

Since it was a cold evening with plenty of snow, we decided to try somewhere local within walking distance. So, it was a chance to try La Pidz. From the outside the restaurant looks atmospheric & welcoming. It certainly has art deco feel. Once inside we were quickly seated. We ordered cocktails, antipasto, & a couple of pizzas, all of which arrived promptly. The burrito was really good, as were the two pizzas, the Aloha & the truffle pizza.

What an amazing discovery! We drove past the sun-drenched patio & decided to stop. Drinks were delicious & creative, as were the beet salad & the vegetarian & truffle pizzas. Our server was welcoming, bubbly, & fun. The decor is polished. It's a total win. Can't wait to go back!
