Le service était poli & accueillant. L'ambiance avec les néons & la musique était cozy & confortable. Cependant, la liste de lecture n'était pas nécessairement adaptée à l'ambiance restaurant italien. De plus, les membres du personnel semblait s'ennuyer un peu en arrière du comptoir.
La croûte de la pizza reçue n'était pas assez cuite & les pâtes carbonara avait des gros morceaux d'oeuf cuit style omelette.
Les cocktails n'étaient malheureusement pas équilibrés, mais avait l'avantage de confirmer leur contenance en alcool.
La Pidz might not catch your eye at first glance, tucked away at the corner of the street, but it's a hidden gem. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm welcome from the incredibly friendly staff. It's a cozy diner with aspirations of offering a fine dining experience.
My girlfriend & I opted for the three-course special, which was about $30 per person. For the price, the value is unbeatable. You get a well-rounded meal with an appetizer, main course, & dessert. We also shared an additional appetizer-the calamari-& it was fantastic. While it won't rival a high-end restaurant, the food is definitely worth the cost.
The only drawbacks were minor. The table was a bit sticky, & sitting near the open kitchen meant it got quite warm, with the smoky aroma lingering on our clothes. Improved ventilation would be a welcome change. But for what you pay, it's a great spot for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
Overall, La Pidz delivers solid quality & a welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a good meal at a great price, this is the perfect spot. Just don't expect a five-star experience, & you'll leave satisfied & full.

This place has real charm. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting, & the staff are incredibly friendly, I felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I walked in.
It's an ideal spot for a date if you love pizza, but honestly, it works just as well for any kind of outing. I've already recommended it to all my pizza-loving friends.
Such a great place for a date night! My hubby decided to try this place tonight for the first time & were not disappointed!! Such a cozy atmosphere, lovely interior, & the food!!! We tried the truffle pizza & it was delicious. The server was attentive & friendly. She suggested some drinks & they were all lovely. We finished the night by ordering a cannoli & left so full & happy. Would recommend!!!
La Pidz is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts. The pizza here is superb, featuring a homemade tomato sauce that bursts with fresh, tangy flavors. The crust is perfectly charred, offering a delightful blend of crispy & chewy textures. Fresh ingredients & generous portions ensure each bite is satisfying. Their meatballs are also incredibly tender & flavorful. The ambiance at La Pidz captures the essence of New York, creating a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere. Friendly & attentive staff add to the welcoming environment.
This restaurant has it all: the food, the service & the atmosphere. A MUST visit spot. We had such a great time here, this is truly one of the best restaurants in Montreal. Our waiter John made our night & went above & beyond throughout the night to make sure we had the best time! Food was delicious, we tried cheese, pepperoni & garden pizza & all were very tasty. As for drinks, they were perfection. Princess Peach is definitely a must try if you like peach flavor. I will most certainly come back again & will recommend it to anyone who's looking for a cozy restaurant in the Verdun area!!
If you're a fan of cocktails & pizza, I would definitely recommend. Small enough to be cozy but big enough to be energetic. Our server John was a pro & definitely added a special touch to the whole experience.

An enchanting evening at La Pidz! beautiful decorations 👏 . Ambiance was warm & inviting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful dinner. Last night we went there with a big group . They offered a delectable array of authentic pizza & drinks in beautiful dinnerware .The impeccable service & cozy atmosphere elevated our dining experience. We left with satisfied palates & fond memories,we are excited to return for another memorable meal in the near future. Recommended for anyone seeking a cozy place to taste of delicious pizza in Montreal.
