Food & service so great we came back two nights in a row. Everything was prepared to perfection. Ideal portion sizes. Don't miss the key lime pie.
It's a very cozy place, with a nice ambience. We tried the red pepper soup, the duck, the trout, & the risotto. All of them very good. For dessert we tried the key lime pie & a traditional pudding with maple, both delicious. We were able to get a table the same day.
Totally hygge dining in a cozy log cabin with a roaring fire. 20 minute walk from Tremblant ski village or free shuttle. We sat at the bar for our return after many years & were spoiled with personal attention & suggestions from the owner, sommelier, waitstaff & bartender. Wine list was incredibly reasonable & the sommelier didn't at all push pricy options. Snails in creamy garlic were perfect, beef cheeks were melt in your mouth tender. & the key lime pie is as good as its reputation. Tart & light. Lovely walk back around the lake to the village with the lights on the mountain twinkling like stars.
WOW, this is a gem! Wonderful food with awesome customer service. Ludovic paid attention to our every need, provided advice on our food choices & even made us laugh with jokes! Lastly, the key lime pie is a must try! 😁
We absolutely love this spot & we had to try multiple things to really experience the chef's talent.
Here's what we ordered with it's rating :
Pear salad : 8/10 I feel like it needs a better dressing but still so good.
Gnocchi: 7/10
Tuna tataki: 9.5/10
Foie gras ( my husband favorite dish in restaurants): 6.8/10 it was slightly over-cooked
Main: magret de canard: 8/10 amazing dish but was definitely not medium rare.
Keylime pie: 7.5/10
Creme brulé: 9/10 very nice & not too sweet.
Definitely worth a try !
Highly recommended. Beautiful restaurant, wonderful food & top tier service. We brought our 3 kids (we like to treat them to one high class dining experience when we are on vacation). The kids meals were prepared with lots of care, which I feel is very rare. The kids had salmon & chicken, which were both excellent. Our teenager had a very nice filet mignon. My wife had the risotto & I the sea bass special, & we all shared a pear & arugula salad & the French onion soup, which was seasoned perfectly. For dessert we shared sorbet & a slice of key lime pie, which was also amazing & highly recommended by our waiter (he threw down the gauntlet claiming it may be the best in the world, & I can't disagree)! I wish we lived close enough to try all the delicious items on the menu (up from Florida), but I hope we are back very soon!
Great place! The good is excellent, waiting staff friendly & attentive & the atmosphere was really nice. I had the salmon starter which was really fresh tasting &
tender, followed by ribs (really tasty marinade) & key lime pie (also delicious). They had a great selection of beers including good non alcoholic ones.
It's very cozy & cute restaurant to finish the weekend. Food is okay, nothing special to be honest. I expect the'yummmm!' sound at that price point which I didn't get. That's why giving 4 stars. To give more content, here is what we had: 2 french onion soups, 1 fillet mignon, 1 cote de beuf, 1 key lime pie, 1 bottle of red wine($65), the total amount was around $280. We get a fine dining experience with this kind of price point usually.
Excellent food & service! The rack of lamb & duck breast were amazing. You have to try the key lime pie for dessert!
