Terrible experience. Extremely rude cashier with no customer service or basic people skills. Even less personalty. Yet again the food was one hour late for a pick up. Had ordered the food two hours before the time they said it would be ready. Not the first time this happens. This time Mother's Day & pandemic (always easy to throw that one in) was the excuse....no common sense to even plan appropriate staffing for a major dining weekend. No acknowledgement that when you give a time for somebody to show up you should honour it & not repeatedly make excuses as to why you can't do your job or serve people as promised. Two hours is plenty of time to prepare the food. They give you the attitude when they are the ones messing up. When told they were an hour late & when would things be ready the cashier first off told me I had a different time given to me & then added "I have no time for this s--t!!!. Arrogance & attitude...what a combination for stellar customer service.
Arrived here with my wife on Valentine's Day 2019 for a 7:30pm reservation. Sat down & the first question the waiter asked me was how I was paying. A strange question to ask someone before ordering but I answered cash. After 25 minutes my order was placed officially according to our manager (more on that later). We had our entree served around 20 minutes later. At around 9pm our main course never arrived & we witnessed two tables leave due to the main courses not arriving. We were unable to stay any longer as being there for 1.5h without a main course at an all you can eat restaurant is just plain unacceptable. So we decided to leave & asked to be charged for just what we ate. Our soups, shrimp toast, salad, peanut dumplings & a beer. We asked the waiter for the bill & he came back with the full amount 95$. I then told him this was unacceptable & offered him half the bill as there was no service performed. Plus they never even came once to remove the dishes on our table the entire time we were there. The manager refused this offer & demanded we pay the full amount & that if we didn't he would call the cops. I told him this was completely unacceptable & then he threatened to take my license down & chase me down. Talk about customer service here. At 9:30 he brought me my food in a take out bag & out of shear disappointment I paid the full amount. Please stay away from this shameful restaurant & what a true horrible experience for my wife & I to experience on Valentine's Day.
We had reservation, but still had to wait aver an hour to be seated. They seemed lost .The service at this restaurant is slow & inattentive. DONT ORDER DRINKS, they are terrible & poorly made . The restaurant has no ambiance & is really old & outdated. When you enter , there's a plaque on the wall with a good review, buts its dated 1991.
They have a good selection, but food is either too sweet or extremely bland. The overall experience was not worth the expense.
It may have been good once (1991), but not now.
I do not recommend this resto.
Good service, AMAZING food. The shrimp toast is a definite must, we ordered 4 servings of it, by the buffet option hehe. Only con: very expensive!!!
This was my first time eating here & while the reviews made me a little apprehensive my date assured merge food would be excellent. & it was. I have a very serious seafood/shellfish allergy & they had noted it with the reservation & the kitchen had no problem accommodating us. The food was excellent, the service was spot on & we had a wonderful evening.
I strongly feel anyone who left this restaurant unimpressed was there on an off night. Everyone I've spoken to about this place has had nothing but good things to say about it & I count myself among those who would recommend it & definitely go back.
My absolute favourite chinese food! Everything we have tried has been excellent. We always get take-out so cannot speak to the service.
I have been coming to this restaurant for a very long time, & the food is always amazing. Great authentic food that is not drenched in sauce. Probably the best restaurant in the West Island! Try the pan fried noodles, they are wonderful!
The service is great, with the waiters always passing by in order to fulfill the customers' needs.
