About

La Perle features a diverse menu that harmonizes classic Chinese preparations with the vibrant, aromatic profiles of traditional Thai cooking. The kitchen emphasizes high-heat stir-frying and the careful layering of fresh spices to create complex flavor profiles across a broad selection of noodle and rice dishes. Patrons encounter a wide array of savory proteins, including crispy duck, tender beef, and seafood options prepared with tangy tamarind or creamy coconut curry sauces. The interior environment provides a straightforward, functional space suitable for focus on the meal itself. Efficient service ensures that plates arrive promptly from the kitchen, maintaining the structural integrity of crisp vegetables and perfectly cooked proteins. This establishment serves as a reliable destination for diners seeking a direct, flavor-focused exploration of Asian culinary staples prepared with consistent technical precision.

Review Summary

La Perle is widely regarded as a staple for consistent and delicious Asian cuisine in the West Island, with many patrons returning for years to enjoy their favorite dishes. Standout menu items such as the peanut butter dumplings, shrimp toast, and banana fritters frequently receive high praise for their freshness and quality. Many guests appreciate the attentive and professional service provided by the staff, who often go out of their way to accommodate dietary restrictions and make celebrations feel special. Whether visiting for a casual meal or a milestone event, regular diners continue to find the restaurant to be a welcoming and satisfying destination worth traveling for.

Food is not that great as it used to be, service is a big ZERO, the staff are so rude, & the noise... oh my god
NEVER AGAIN, it is no longer an experience, just food on the table, for what it is, it is not worth any STARS

Lunch menu a la carte is considerably smaller than dinner menu. But everything was delicious.

Let me preface this by saying that while I'm not allergic to fish, I get severe indigestion from it.

Having ordered the general tao chicken, it was rather surprising to have a distinct fish taste & odd texture compared to the other pieces I've had. Wasn't long before someone else from our group noticed a piece of white fish amongst the general tao chicken. We brought it up to our waiter who told us it was an impossibility yet 2 of us had pieces of fish.

So I paid 60$ for a supper that will end up very shortly in the toilet.

Also to note that the waiter having done a mistake on bills from our party told us to sort it amongst ourselves instead of correcting them.

Please be careful of you have allergies or sensitive to certain foods! Food was ok, but an issue arose that there were pieces of fish in the General Tao, which my friend didn't react well to. The waiter argued that it was impossible there was fish in there, even though 2 of our group found battered fish in the same dish.

Avant la covid j'aurais mise
5 etoile.
