Really disappointed in the service. La Perle is a West Island staple. Truly the best Chinese food you can eat in the city but the service is to be left desired. I had driven specifically from downtown to pick up food & when I arrived home, I noticed a dish was missing. A simple mistake surely, I called to advise them to get a refund for the dish or a restaurant credit. The woman on the phone sounded shocked & said they'd need to check the cameras & call back. Pretty surprised by her response considering it's a little strange to have cameras watching their kitchen staff but I said no problem & thank you for checking. It's now three days later, no call back & no apology from the restaurant. Really disappointed as a long time fan.
While the food was very good, the service was disappointingly slow. We had a 7:30 reservation, got seated at 7:30. However we didn't receive our first order until 8:40. We also never received our second of three requested food rounds, & ultimately left around 10:15…

Service attentionné, le midi ouvre à 11h30 mais ferme à 14h: arriver tôt, sur semaine était moyennement achalandé, grande salle à manger, formule buffet à la carte (écrire commande écrite extensive dès le début sur petit pad avec crayon: arrivera vite) (mets commandés mais non mangés sur place seront facturés). Mets savoureux, formule roborative. Parking gratuit. À 30 minutes de CDN, via la 40W sortie 52.
Can't believe I only just discovered this place. Our 2nd visit was Feb.28th for my sister's birthday. The food is freshly made & delicious. Wonton soup,spring rolls,boneless ribs, crispy beef, shrimp toast, steamed rice, peanut butter dumplings, every dish is delicious. Service is fast & efficient. Staff work together efficiently to ensure great customer service. We intend to go at least once a month. Staff are all good. Shout out to our server Alex a young man with an infectious smile & nice personality. We always make sure to sit in his section. He goes above & beyond to ensure we have a good experience. Tks Alex.
