C'est vraiment décevant & pas professionnel.
J'ai décidé de faire changement de ma place de gyro habituelle, en terme de gout/qualité c'est pas mal similaire, mais sérieusement ça fait dur une place cash only en 2025 & forcer les clients qui tiennent pas de cash sur eux débourser 2.25$ de frais atm pour économiser sur le 2 cent de frais de transaction interac. Juste la quantité de clients qui se pointent pas à votre resto chaque jour parcequ'ils ont pas le cash sur eux vous fait perdre pas mal plus que 2 cent par transaction debit...
Popped into this place tonight for the first time after craving a poutine & it was INCREDIBLE. The fries were crispy, layered with thick cheese curds, & delicious gravy. The portion size was huge & the prices are good. The grill & prep area were very clean. It's cash only & the two gentleman working are focused on making the tasty food, not to chat. All good, will be back.
Portion was decent, but nothing special considering the price & the fact that it's cash only (14,5$ + tax for 2 pork doners). They're a bit stingy with the toppings (barely any onion or tomato or lettuce), except for the tzatziki sauce, which is the one good thing.
I give this a 2.5 I grew up eating in this place, went away when COVID hit . Came back & the gyros are smaller, dry meat. Soggy fries NOT at all what it used to be. This place used to be FIRE GOOD juicy. Best gyro in the city for sure. Cash only & all I used to didn't care for that. Hopefully they come back as they used to. Many new places open up & are very good. (Reply) No sir it was quite open, sad instead of inviting again you come with a joke. Your gyro is DRy & small at 2pm during the day

Absolutely delicious kebabs! The chickenwas tender, the veggies were fresh, & the sauce was just perfect. Quick service & friendly staff too. Will definitely be coming back for more! Make sure you bring cash tho! (CASH ONLY)
Really good doner & food. They only take cash. One of the only places that closes late at night if you ever need to grab something to eat. The worker may be rude but you don't go there for the service or vibe. Just the food
J'ai été pour la première fois à la ligne rouge suite à la recommandation d'un ami & après la réouverture du restaurant. Le menu est diversifié pour un fast food de ce type pour tous les budgets. J'ai opté pour une Poutine à la viande. La Poutine était vraiment bonne. Je recommande ce restaurant proche par le métro Jean-Talon. PS Ils prennent seulement de l'argent comptant. On ne se rend pas compte à quel point un resto peut faire partie de notre vie jusqu'à sa fermeture. C'est ce qui m'était arrivé avec La Ligne Rouge, resto qui a fait parti de ma vie pendant longtemps. Nous arrêtions après nos soirées alcoolisées pour bouffer de bons souvlaki "donners" dans ce resto sans prétention. Puis, soudainement, comme beaucoup de restos pendant la pandémie, la Ligne Rouge est disparue. Mais voilà qu'elle est de retour. Même personnel sympathique, avec en tête le même gars avec sa moustache en poignée de bicycle qu'on voyait sur la vitrine! Personnel qui est toujours super occupé & un peu bourru mais des gens qui tiennent à leurs clients. Je suis toujours super bien servi. Ne vous attendez pas à un resto "jeune & tendance". Le décor a pas vraiment été refait. La série de tables est un peu inconfortable. Avec si peu de clientèle, il serait temps d'aérer ça! Changer le décor un peu. Pour le paiement: cash only! Maintenant, parlons de la bouffe. LA BOUFFE! Pur délice! Les pita "donners" au porc sont tellement sur la coche! Savoureux avec des épices simples. C'est inimitable. Les bonne grosses frites faites maison. Pas de surgelé, des VRAIES frites. Le menu est relativement simple, mais c'est exactement ce qui explique le succès. Nous sommes beaucoup de fidèles de ce resto. J'oserais dire que c'est une institutions montréalaise au même titre que Schwartz's, Wilensky, Orange Julep, etc... La Ligne Rouge est un petit trésor & un des secrets cachés de notre ville. Je n'ai aucune idée sur le proprio actuel entrevoit de la relève, mais vaut mieux en profiter maintenant, au cas où ça fermerait à nouveau!

Rien d'exceptionnel, tout juste mangeable. J'avais eu de bons retours concernant la bouffe & j'ai été très très déçu. Sans parler du cash only qui pour moi est inadmissible. Trop de bon resto dans le quartier, je n'y retournerai pas
I heard many good reviews at La ligne Rouge. I went there around 9h30 p.m. I got the poutine, a pita, & the burger. The staff seemed in a rush even tho there weren't many people. It was my first time, & I felt unwelcome due to the fact that I was taking my time to choose. The price is average & so is the cleaness of the store. Food is ok. There were too many Tzatziki sauces in the burger & the pita. The fries were soggy, & the sauce was too salty. The portion is big. They only accept cash. If not, there is an ATM in person.
