Reviews describe La Fabrique de Bagel Montréal as a warm, cozy spot with fresh, chewy bagels and a wide range of cream cheeses and toppings that make for satisfying breakfasts and casual lunches. The service is repeatedly praised for friendliness and helpfulness, with staff noted for accommodating language needs and making guests feel welcome. Bagels are frequently called fresh and flavorful, with particular favorites including sesame with salmon, pesto cream cheese, and pumpernickel with figs, though several comments mention inconsistencies in quality and value, including bagels that were dry or overdone and prices that feel high for the portion size. The atmosphere, decor, and coffee are regularly highlighted as bonuses, and many reviewers say they would return, citing quick service, good vibes, and the sense that the place treats guests like regulars even when visiting as tourists. Overall, it comes across as a reliable Montréal bagel destination with strong staff, solid flavors, and a few caveats about price and occasional unevenness.
Visiting Montreal for a few days & staying nearby. Stopped in for breakfast early Monday morning & had an incredible experience. Everything was delicious & the staff were amazing! The front gentleman was extremely pleasant, explained everything to us & helped us navigate the menu. We had sandwiches, espressos & sides (smoothie, soup & bagel/cream cheese) & we all loved our choices. Highly recommend!

Very friendly & extremely delicious. Adil, fluent in English, explained everything & was so helpful. The bagel sandwiches were magnifique & the kids loved the smoothies. Great spot to stop for a quick breakfast. Will be back.
It's a very cute place with great service just lacking in flavor all around. The ratings are right on par overall with our experience. The bagels are average at best, & the coffee is bad. I wanted to love it, it also felt way overpriced. I wouldn't go out of your way for this if you're visiting.
The food was excellent with many options even for vegetarians like me, I got an egg & avocado bagel & it was one of the best bagels I've had. My family was from the USA & we don't understand a lick of French, the employee Rayan was very nice wished us luck on our vacation & gave us future travel advice for when I explore Europe!
