Right in the old port in a very touristic area during the hotter months. Service was good & food was great, price fairly for the quality & the location. Tacos were really tasty & great chips, dipping was really fresh. Would come back again.
Nourriture excellente, bonne ambiance mais service laissant à désirer. On nous a forcé un pourboire de 18% car nous étions plus de huit personnes, malgré le service qui n'était vraiment pas à la hauteur d'un don de 18% de nos factures. C'est dommage car les plats sont vraiment délicieux, mais on n'y retournera plus simplement pour les tips exagérés & forcés sur la clientèle. Si au moins le service avait été impeccable, ça aurait été différent.
Honestly a great experience, until we were disappointed at the very end by the rude way our waitress told us abruptly:'by the way i don't know if it was mentioned when you entered, but for groups of 8 or more, it's 18% tips minimum. That's the policy in the restaurant & it was written in the menu'. The way you read it is definitely less harsh than how she said it… Which is a bummer because we had a great time, were in the lounge downstairs, & as you see in the pictures the food looks delicious, all the plates tasted great as well. Nice atmosphere, with not-so-loud-but-lively music. Too bad we left too stunned to speak after the very uncomfortable & rude moment.
Their guac is fresh & delicious. Food was good too just a bit on the pricey side for the size. They have seasonal menus that still show up on the regular menu & the items are not available. But otherwise cute spot & friendly staff

Nous n'avions pas de réservation même si le restaurant était vide. Ils nous ont trouvé une place en nous disant que nous avions 1h30 pour manger ce qui était parfait pour nous. Le problème est que ça a pris 45 minutes avant de prendre notre commande & un autre 30 minutes avant d'être servi. Nous avons dû manger & boire en vitesse. La nourriture est excellente, mais les portions sont très petites pour leur prix élevé. Je n'y retournerai plus.
Vibrant Mexican restaurant in the Vieux-Port area of Montreal. We were a group of 8 girls for lunch. Definitely recommend the tableside guac. We ordered 2 but could have easily devoured 3! Service was excellent & friendly. The patio wasn't open when we were there (chilly day at the beginning of April) but it's huge & would be lovely to sit out there on a nice day. Make a reso or you'll likely have to wait for a table!

Would expected Mariachi music or even Corrido's.
Would recommend the Molcajete . Maybe not the place for the PIE Ribeye, highly priced. Well aware is a tourist area...doesnt need to be a touristTrap.
