Beauty cozy place to have some fun with friends & family.

I was searching for a BYOW steak restaurant. Very few choices in Montreal, but La Campagnola stood out in the search & they didn't disappoint. It had a good selection of streaks & the quality is up there. Good variety of choices in the menu & each was as good as you would expect it to be.

The staff was very friendly & helpful & contributed to the great ambiance of the place.

If you're looking for a good time with good food, you should visit it!

Disappointed & Won't Be Returning

Unfortunately, La Campagnola has been declining over my last few visits, but Saturday night's experience was especially disappointing. From the ambiance to the food & service, nothing stood out in a positive way.

The veal Marsala was bland & lacked any real flavor. The Caesar salad was dry, & I had to ask for more dressing just to make it somewhat enjoyable. When I placed my used fork in the salad bowl expecting a new one, the server simply placed it back on the table. I also had to specifically ask for a cutting knife for the veal, as none was provided-we were expected to use the same butter knife I had used for my bread.

With the higher prices they charge, I expected far better quality & attention to detail. Sadly, the food & service did not meet even basic expectations. I won't be returning.

It was always glad when you found a gem in town:) specially with good quality of steak & several choices of meat parts. First time here today,wonderful experience with Porterhouse 40oz 179$ comes with two sides. Meat is tender, cooked with medium rare. Overall taste is good, not quite like the sauce with steak. As well service is fantastic, welcome & waitress shows her care to us. Will be back try more:)

The best hidden gem in Montreal is in Lasalle! This restaurant is a combination family Italian & steakhouse. The owner greeted us at the door, showed us to our table, talked with us at our table & after we ordered came back & told us we ordered too much! When does that ever happen? We had a wonderful evening- all the staff are exceptional. Every staff always had a happy face.Parking around back or on the street. BYOB also! We sat down, we were immediately served fresh hot rolls. When you walk in you see the meat for sale at the counter. There is also excellent choice of homemade pastas. Their meat is the best quality & you taste it. The owner came by our table with a huge tray of five+ different seasonings if we needed to add to our meat. We did not. You could hear yourself talk. Restaurant has wood tables with black accents. Can't wait to return.

We ordered a steak & it wasn't good at all. Quality was poor. I ordered bragoli & it was like fried meat with a side of boiled veggies. For over $200 we would rather go elsewhere. Service got better after they realized we didn't like our mains but wouldn't go back here for steak or meat. Pizza & pasta seems to be a better option.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary & we were very disappointed. The first thing the waitress told us was that they had no veal or lamb which makes absolutely no sense. So our meat selection was reduced by half. The charcuterie board was nothing amazing. There were only 4 cubed pieces of cheese & all four were the same. Both my husband & I don't like cumin & that was the only cheese given. The main meal also not of the best quality. We spent $200 for nothing special. I would not return to this restaurant.

Service was very good. However, I would have to admit that we were disappointed. There were 4 of & we all agreed that it's just not what it used to be. The pricing did not reflect the quality or portion sizes- $24.00 for Calamari was over priced looked like they split a portion between our friends & us...the four of us will not be back to celebrate another anniversary!

Best restaurant ever! The food is amazing, prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food & on top, it's always an awesome service. They know how to personalize & treat every customer like family. highly recommend for any event!

We had a wonderful dinner with the service being excellent as we were well looked after. We had a variety of entrees from pasta, veal to steak. All were very tasty & prepared & served in a timely manner. It was very nice to bring our own wines; the prices reflect the quality of the food you are served & we would highly recommend La Campagnola for that special dinner out.

Got to be the best Italian restaurant in the city. The quality of the food & the quality of the service is absolutely astonishing & the price is EXTREMELY competitive. Can't find a flaw. Recommend to anybody who wants to have a great Italian meal with a great ambiance.
