Watching the World Cup at La Cage with my family was such a great experience! The food was delicious, the beer was cold, & the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The staff were friendly & made us feel welcome throughout the game. A perfect place to enjoy great soccer, great food, & great memories. We'll definitely be back!
Title: After 50 minutes of line, the game has begun. Are you full?
I came to watch the ball & arrived early. As a result, I stood at the door for 50 minutes. During this period, I asked several times, & it was always'it's almost time, it's almost here'.
What about the result? After the opening whistle of the game was blown, we were told that it was full & there was no reception.
If you had said there was no seat earlier, I would have had two glasses of wine now. We have to wait for the game to start to notify. Isn't it deliberately exhausting people until the last moment? Isn't the time for those who watch the ball time?
If you miss it, you will miss it. You can't make up for this ball. This kind of store, with chaotic management & no sincerity, will never come again. Dear fans, please avoid the lightning directly.

Heidie was the absolute best server ever !! She was super sweet & attentive. We were a big group on a night where there was a Habs game & even when the resto was super busy she made sure we had everything we needed.
Last night, I had a very disappointing dining experience at La Cage during game night.
I fully understand that the restaurant was extremely busy & that the staff were under a lot of pressure. When we ordered our second round of food, the server assigned to our table did not bring us utensils right away. Considering how busy the restaurant was, we remained patient & understanding about the situation.
However, what was completely unacceptable was the attitude & response from another server. We noticed that one server appeared significantly less busy than the rest of the staff & kept walking back & forth near our table. We politely asked him if he could simply bring us two sets of utensils. Instead of helping us, he coldly told us to'go ask your own server.'
The reason it was difficult for us to communicate with the server assigned to our table was because his work section was clearly arranged very poorly. He was responsible for the entire bar area, including another section located approximately 10 meters away from us. He was constantly running around & visibly overwhelmed throughout the entire night. Meanwhile, the server who refused to help us was only responsible for the few nearby tables around us - excluding our table - & appeared much less busy.
Honestly, this response was shocking & unacceptable. We were not asking for anything unreasonable, special treatment, or free items. We were simply asking for basic utensils so we could eat the food we had already ordered & paid for. Refusing such a simple request, while showing such a cold & dismissive attitude toward customers, is extremely unprofessional & reflects very poorly on your service standards.
I would genuinely like to know if this is really the type of customer service La Cage considers acceptable. Are servers trained to refuse even the most basic customer assistance simply because a table is not assigned to them? If so, that is deeply concerning.
Being busy is understandable. Poor organization on a game night may also happen. But showing a bad attitude & refusing a basic customer request is absolutely not acceptable.
This interaction seriously damaged our dining experience & left us with a very negative impression of your restaurant.
I had a bad experience there, my friends & I wanted to eat & stay to watch the habs game, it's the habs who wouldn't do the same & so, we went there & we clearly asked if we were able to stay for the game, they said yes. So we ordered our food however as soon as we were done eating our RUDE waitress told us we had to leave even after we told HER & the other people working there that we were going to stay to watch the game. This was a bad experience we had to watch the game in the freezing cold because of them & I can assure that I WILL NOT be eating there ever again.
We came early on purpose to get a spot for the habs game, we made sure to ask the hostess if we can stay to watch the game & she said yes. We got served by an arrogant waitress that seemed sincerely uninterested in her job. After we finished eating, she pressured us to leave since'we weren't consuming anymore.' Even tho when we came in & once we were seated we were asked if we were gonna stay to watch the game. We said yes & they said all was good, but clearly this waitress had other plans. Im just sincerely disappointed in this service & I really do hope it improves. I would have no problem if they had told us that we couldn't stay since the start but I just find it EXTREMELY unprofessional that they contradicted themselves.
