Le Cage was an absolute blast! The complimentary popcorn was a delicious way to kick off the experience, & things only got better from there. The half-price wings were incredibly tasty, & the atmosphere was completely off the charts-lively, energetic, & so much fun. We had a fabulous time & will definitely be back on our next trip to Montreal. Highly recommend!

J'ai passé un super moment à La Cage, & je tiens surtout à souligner le service exceptionnel de notre serveur Julien. Il a été attentif, professionnel, chaleureux & toujours de bonne humeur. Il connaissait très bien le menu, donnait de bons conseils & s'assurait constamment que tout était parfait, sans jamais être envahissant.
Le service a vraiment fait toute la différence & a largement contribué à rendre la soirée agréable. C'est rare de tomber sur un serveur aussi impliqué & efficace.
Un grand merci à Julien pour son excellent travail - clairement une raison de plus pour revenir à La Cage. Je recommande sans hésite
It started out well. The front door host was very cheerful & friendly, offering free popcorn & directing us to the bar. After a few drinks, we decided to order some food since a few of the dishes I saw going by looked quite appealing. We ordered buffalo chicken wings, a poutine, & an onion soup.
The onion soup was good but not very hot, but at least it had decent flavour. The buffalo wings, however, were lacking both buffalo sauce & seasoning. The poutine was the biggest disappointment: it arrived cold, the fries were soggy (some even felt chilled), the cheese curds were still cold, & the sauce had already coagulated. I tried to bring this up with the servers, but they all seemed busy doing other things.
We ended up eating the soup & wings since they were at least passable, but I couldn't bring myself to attempt more than a bite of the poutine. When I finally got a server's attention, I mentioned the issue. She did offer to have a new one made, but by then I was done. Hard to believe the worst poutine I've ever had was in the very city it's famous for.
When the bill arrived, I noticed the poutine had been removed, so at least they made an effort to address the situation.
Overall, it's a good spot for beers as they have a great selection on tap, but I'd recommend eating somewhere else.

- Special instruction: vegetarian, was served shrimp dish- saying it was correct & later admitting it was the wrong dish!
- Wouldn't recommend to English speakers.

Very dry, nothing truffle flavoured about it…

Good portion, brûlée was really bad but the crème part was good.
Succulents Nachos au poulet avec Guacamole 😃 Nous étions 4 & cela suffisait pour partager / de plus délicieux popcorn offerts à notre arrivée / serveuse très disponible & serviable / le cadre est également très sympa avec plein d'écrans TV diffusant du sport - je recommande vivement cet endroit 👍
Super service !! L'equipe a vraiment été au soin jusqu'au bout! Nous avons pris des minis burger de bison & des tacos de poissons c'était un régal pour les deux!!! Vraiment je recommande cette place !

Laura était une superbe serveuse, super agréable & a vraiment fait notre soirée! Elle était super accueillante, drôle, sociable & aidante. Super service & je recommande vraiment!
It's a good place to share good beer with your partner &/or your friends, especially if you love sports. Good music, kind service, great atmosphere, interesting variety of beers, highly recommended!
The host welcomes you with a big smile & offers you popcorn. The waiter was kind enough to change the TV channel so we could watch the Raptors game. The food was delicious: Salmon roti with smashed potatoes & vegetables. Well cooked, well seasoned, great fish portion. The atmosphere is really nice, the music they play in the background is very good. The screens are huge & there was hockey, basketball etc. The place was full. Recommend to make reservation. Thank you for staff that made our evening & experience really great. Definitely recommend this place & look forward to returning soon.

Restaurant du Complexe-Desjardins Le service était excellent & professionnel. Les Bloody Ceasar succulents & la nourriture (Tous pour un & des ailes 911) chaude & goûteuse. Tout était parfait, sauf pour les Canadiens qui ont perdu ! 🤣 Je recommande sans hésitation !
From the moment I walked into La Cage au Sport, I was met with excellent service that truly elevated my dining experience. The staff was welcoming, friendly, & attentive from the start. I was promptly greeted & seated, & my server made sure I felt comfortable while offering great recommendations from the menu. The service was seamless, with drinks & food arriving quickly, & everything was exactly as I ordered. The team's professionalism & positive attitude were consistent throughout my visit, making me feel valued as a customer. It's refreshing to see a restaurant where customer satisfaction is clearly a priority. I highly recommend La Cage au Sport for its top-notch service & enjoyable atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning soon!
good sports bar. they serve you popcorn when you're seated which is a nice touch. Lili & Saliha were very nice & professional. I definitely recommend the tartare duo.
Ate here recently after an evening at Place des Arts. The waitress from the start seemed to be in an unpleasant mood & after the assistant server spilled one of the drinks on us, her mood didn't improve. The food, Bliss burger was great. So was the Brie & Mushroom burger - absolutely delicious. But those fries need help, bland & no taste whatsoever. Dessert was great too, the Molten chocolate cake, except the hazelnuts served all over were stale & rancid. Overall, it was a good experience. Would recommend if you need a place to eat before or after a show.
Superbe expérience nous avons manger a 4 a 22:10 le dernier service en France je pense que nous aurions été refuser . un bar sportif avec des écrans géant (baseball, MMA, boxe, automobile fia .....) un plafond orner de cross de hockey . Le repas étais très bon le plat (tous pour un ) une dinguerie trop bon je recommande . Wrap.... Excellent, burger .....super bon & les frites très bonne .merci a la team de la CAGE pour leur professionnalisme.👍🏻👏🏻😍
I was pretty impressed with this Sports Bar to say the least as it's not a type of place I'd usually go to when visiting Montreal but I was pleasantly surprised as we were a pretty large group & wanted to watch some Euro Cup Soccer. The place was very spacious with plenty of seating inside & nice patio as well. They had some nice large screens as well to enjoy your sporting event of choice. Our server Ariana was awesome made our experience fun & enjoyable to say the least. The food & drinks were way better than what I was expecting & the prices were reasonable too. The $3 shot special was the highlight & we took full advantage of that which made things even funner lol. The Nachos, Wings & Club Sandwich were awesome so I'd definitely recommend those from the menu. Because we had a great time I'd definitely recommend to give them a try here as I'm sure we'll return again someday when we visit beautiful Montreal in the future.
Une première expérience où j'ai malheureusement été déçu par la qualité de la nourriture. Je vous recommande de ne pas prendre le plat de'calmars sautés', car il est mal cuit & plein d'huile qui est totalement brûlé. On ne peut même pas le manger, & malgré ma réclamation, il n'y a eu aucune réaction. Merci
