La Buvette du Dep is a must on the Plateau Mont-Royal. True to the values of Cafés du Petit Dep, we celebrate a truly local community by collaborating with meticulous producers to bring you authentic, refined flavours.

Welcoming bar and restaurant on le Plateau - From 8am, La Buvette du Dep welcomes you with microbrewed coffees, fresh pastries and delicatessen. From 4pm, it's time for home-cooked meals, signature cocktails, local beers and wines.

Very cute café, you really feel like you're in a Swiss chalet! The service is not the best, they take their time, don't go there if you're in a hurry. I can't speak for the hot chocolate or the food since I ordered a latte. It was catastrophic. I asked for a regular latte, regular coffee, regular cow milk, nothing fancy. I can assure there was no real coffee there, it tasted of yeast. Very bad.

Le Petit Dep est un endroit plein de charme! Emma, la barista, est absolument adorable-tellement gentille & accueillante. L'ambiance est cosy & agréable, & les boissons sont excellentes. Les lattes sont onctueux & parfaitement réalisés, le chocolat chaud est délicieux, & le latte art est magnifique. À découvrir absolument!

Le Petit Dep is such a charming spot! Emma, the barista, was absolutely wonderful-so kind & welcoming. The ambiance is warm & inviting, & the drinks are fantastic. The lattes are smooth & perfectly made, the hot chocolate is delicious, & the latte art is on point. A must-visit!

Have been wanting to go here for the longest time! We went at around 11pm Friday night & there was a line outside. Unfortunately there was so many people we were not able to sit down as they were closing soon. We decided to settle for take out so we skipped the line so go to the counter & order. It was very fast. I got a hot chocolate & a carrot cake & it was amazing!! Totally wish I got there earlier so I had an opportunity to sit down & take in the beauty of the cafe. Totally recommend!

Came in for a simple hot chocolate with marshmallows & whipped cream for our kid. Server suggested their'special' version with strawberry marshmallows. Big mistake - received a watered-down hot chocolate drowning in syrup & random candy pieces. Not what we asked for, not what we expected. Would not recommend unless you like your hot chocolate extremely sweet & diluted.
