Ambiance chaleureuse et cosy, La Buvette du Dep propose un décor industriel loft agrémenté de plantes qui invite à la détente. Le café et les boissons sont souvent à la hauteur des attentes, accompagnés d'une offre de viennoiseries, pâtisseries et brunch appréciés, servis par une équipe sympathique et accueillante. L'espace se décline en plusieurs configurations, dont une mezzanine idéale pour travailler ou se retrouver entre amis, et le cadre propice au calme et au travail est une vraie force. Le menu allie originalité et qualité, avec des plats comme le sandwich au poulet pané et les desserts qui font l'unanimité, même si quelques voix estiment les tarifs un peu élevés ou le bruit parfois soutenu. Dans l'ensemble, le lieu marque par son design soigné, son ambiance conviviale et son expérience gustative, qui incite à revenir pour tester d'autres mets ou simplement profiter d'un moment agréable.
PROS: 1. The inside is nicely decorated, 2 levels: rdc, just get in & seat, it's more crowded & noisy; upstairs, with reservation per day or per hour (7-16 $), usually for quiet study or chill meetings.
2. Food/ drinks: they have sandwiches & pastry; i only had a Feel good tea, it was delicious but 6.50$?
3. CONs: one serving girl upstairs & took 30 min to get 1 up tea.
Other POV: It's 15 minutes from Metro station ( parking in the street available only if lucky)
We've been coming here for years. Coffee is excellent.
Since they started doing brunch, the amount of disorganization amongst staff is mind blowing. They run around like chickens with no head or stare at the ceiling, but EVERY time we come to grab a coffee to go, we wait anything from 10 to 25 minutes. FOR COFFEE. More often than not, there are 1 to 6-7 drinks before us, therefore absolutely nothing to justify that.
I wrote to management privately trying to explain the situation but never got an answer & things are not changing.
This was unfortunately the last time we go.

Other than the chairs that have picked out of the garbage & not updated so you can actually sit comfortably on them, this place is adorable & has a good food & drink selection. Will return!
Wow. L'imposteur cocktail should win awards. A perfect blend of matcha & pistachio flavours, with gorgeous presentation. A little powdery at the end though. The Purple Sour deserves a more creative name because it was a nice well balanced cocktail.
Pretty decor, efficient service. I love the little free-use water tap but I think it needs better signage.
My friend took advantage of the 5 à 7 drink deals & had a couple of negronis that she enjoyed at a good price.
Came here with work friends for a bite to eat & a drink… disappointed with the food to say the least. The pizzas were bad, not to mention there was a hair on a slice?!… the charcuterie board was really bland & the drinks were just satisfactory.
The only good part is the ambiance, the atmosphere is very unique & quite enjoyable, along with a pinball machine near the bathrooms.
I would only come back to play pinball.. that's it.
I visit this Cafe regularly & always amazed how fresh their pastries are; however, they have been constantly sizing down their drinks in the past 2 years
I saw an instagram post & decided to go there & try their brunch menu.
We should not fool people with fake photos.
We got there around 11:30. It was not crowded. So I ordered two eggs with smoked meat & goat cheese & my boyfriend ordered tortilla. & we wanted to take our order to the 3rd floor to study. We paid $7 per person to use the space upstairs.
My boyfriend was waiting for one hour in front of the counter. Finally I came & saw the tray with a small dish & a small cup of smoked salmon. I told them that is not what I ordered. So we waited another half an hour while my latte got cold upstairs. I was surprised by so many staff working there. It was not crowded & the waiting time was ling & the orders were mixed up. & finally we ended up with these two you see in photos that we paid $57. I felt I was robbed. The size of this dish is literally 12cm in diameter. In total, we paid $98.58 for two dishes from breakfast menu, 2 latte & two ginger/lemon drinks. I do not recommend. Sadly its a beautiful place with nice decorations & plants but the quality of food & the portions compared to the prices makes no sense.

Not a cafe to come to for work anymore. Mandatory $7 fee to get in, plus drink order required. Sitting down to get an hour or two of work will cost you $15.
Atmosphere is 10/10
Service is amaziiinng, one of the guy's at the register is so sweet & will give you recommendations!
Super cozy café, nice drinks & yummy pastries.

I love coming here for drinks/ to work upstairs. Usually the service is decent, but today's service was not it. My husband ordered an affogato & it was served in a broken glass. When I pointed it out, the staff seemed too chill about it, & said that even though the glass is partially broken, it won't break in our hands. I'm sorry but for a place that serves beverages, having broken glass should be considered hazard. We expected her to change the glass right away but she offered to change if « we wanted ». Her initial response to such hazard was disappointing. I hope they threw the glass away.
I don't think it's just because I was in food service for 15 years that I expect better than this. But here we go:
*Service is incredibly slow: It took nearly 20 mins to get my coffee drink. I understand someone was being trained, but it was for the person doing the training to say to the customers'they're in training, this could take a longer than usual' not just ignore that we're standing there. Also, when tickets line up, it's for that staff member to take over & get the customers their orders quickly & train when it's slower. This was probably the exception not the rule to service.
* Staff would disappear: There was one staff member for 2 floors (1st & 3RD) so they were constantly having to leave one floor or the other to take care of customers. The server seemed more than capable of handling the amount of customers on two floors, but not being there when a customer needed them. (Note to owners: this caused people to choose not to order at all & some to leave. That's money for you *&* your staff flying away.)
* Rude enforcement of rules: my friend opened her computer to show me something & we were told that if we wanted to work, that's what the 3rd floor was for. We explained that she was just showing me something, we weren't working & he repeated himself & stood there until the computer was put away. There were no visible signs that computers cannot be used in *any* way on the 1st floor. I *did* notice one, the size of a coaster, on another table on the way out.
* This same employee slapped down a reserved for X time (i.e. in 15 minutes) on the table. Having someone say,'Excuse me, we have a large party coming in & we're going to need these tables. Can I help you move to another?' isn't too much to ask for. They removed the signs 5 mins later & set up the table elsewhere. The place was not busy, that space could have (& should have) been confirmed *before* disturbing us.
It seemed like this staff member was coming in for their shift. They clearly had no idea how much money we'd spent before they got there & just saw us with water glasses on the table & made a judgement/decision to treat us accordingly.
ALL of that said: The staff member who was there on my arrival was delightful (5⭐). He was personable, informed & managed the floor well.
The place is very pretty. The third floor is really beautiful & peaceful & I would have loved to come back to work from there.
The food, though prêt à manger, was good.
So there you go. Basically an open letter to the owners.

Genuinely deserves 5 stars. No screens downstairs, it's only for cafe chats. Screens allowed upstairs for studying. This cafe takes all types of visitors into account with that rule. The food & drinks are great. A little pricey, but the design is so cool inside that I'm happy to pay. Sick vibes!
Impressive service, atmosphere, & quality of drinks/food. It is definitely a place to enjoy a warm drink during winter & to pick up a fresh drink during summer. The service is great. Even when we went during a usual holiday, they were open & providing great service.
Great place for coffee, cocktails & wines. It's usually quiet so I go here to read often. Staffs are always friendly & welcoming. But I wish they care more about cleaning. many times the tables are messy with drink stains & bread crumbs.
The interior is gorgeous, the dry goods are finest quality, but the'eat in' food is pre-made in takeout containers & the slow poor service is below abysmal - if they even manage to get your order right or remember to make all of it be prepared to go behind to counter to find where they left it - we were not even seated we were waiting at the counter for twenty minutes for two drinks & a pre-made cookie... awkwardly standing watching our only half correct drinks left on the back counter go off while ten people were served & discovered we had to re order the damn dessert they forgot to lift & put in a plate when we finally went half behind the counter to ask if we could have the drinks we paid for - only great for photos or sitting with a laptop if you don't care about food or service
Great funky coffee place, there are a lot of tables & comfy chairs to sink into. The lemonade is lovely & your drink is brought to your table when it's ready
