Ambiance chaleureuse et cosy, La Buvette du Dep propose un décor industriel loft agrémenté de plantes qui invite à la détente. Le café et les boissons sont souvent à la hauteur des attentes, accompagnés d'une offre de viennoiseries, pâtisseries et brunch appréciés, servis par une équipe sympathique et accueillante. L'espace se décline en plusieurs configurations, dont une mezzanine idéale pour travailler ou se retrouver entre amis, et le cadre propice au calme et au travail est une vraie force. Le menu allie originalité et qualité, avec des plats comme le sandwich au poulet pané et les desserts qui font l'unanimité, même si quelques voix estiment les tarifs un peu élevés ou le bruit parfois soutenu. Dans l'ensemble, le lieu marque par son design soigné, son ambiance conviviale et son expérience gustative, qui incite à revenir pour tester d'autres mets ou simplement profiter d'un moment agréable.
This place wins in atmosphere but was weak on food. We had the tortilla espanol, my wife is from Spain, an this should be removed from the menu. It has nothing to do with a tortilla espanola & was bland & dry. I had the avocado toast which was also bland. The coffees arrived way before the food & we had to order more coffees when our food came.
I would go back for coffees but that is about it. Unfortunate as it has so much potential.

This may be the cutest, quirkiest coffee shop I've been to in all my travels! We sat at the counter, but there are plenty of comfy chairs, couches, + tables to lounge around in while you enjoy your coffee. Plus a myriad of antiques + curiosities to look at! Iced latte was excellent + maybe the best macaroons I've ever had! Also check out the IMAGINARIUM downstairs... super fun!

It has delicious coffee, & excellent food options the atmosphere is rustic wooden decor, vintage touches, & an abundance of greenery, contributing to a warm & inviting vibe.
The vintage scooter to the floral walls & delicious treats, every corner is filled with charm. 🖤🛵🥐☕?💐
Amazing place to just relax & experiance. Great quality coffee & food & the interior design is the main attraction in my opinion & keeps you coming back for a good sit down.
This trendy big Caffe is maybe one of the best in the area.
Loved the service & all the seating area options.
They have cute merchandise items too.
However I wasn't the biggest fan of their coffee beans. Neither of their desserts
Next time I'll give their food a try.
Update: got to try more items. The service is still great, the matcha, not the best I've tried. The hot chocolate was good, too bad the weather was freezing & I wish it was warmer.
The chicken pané sandwich exceeded all my expectations! I'm so hard with chicken but this one was great! Very moist & tender with tons of flavors. The bread is fresh & tasty too. A little recommendation if they add some pickles the tanginess will balance all the great flavors even more!
❤? LPD! Laid back energy... industrial loft space with retro decor (tons of plants!)... great lunch/ brunch food with delicious patisserie... coffee & wine! amazing got cocoa during the winter! perfect for date night, game night or chilling with friends.

I never give reviews but for this time I have to do it! I ordered a filter coffee & the taste was burnt , not fresh & also a scone which it was obviously old , I requested to have it warmed up & even though it tasted as chewing gum , this is the first time happened even though I come often. Very disappointed to pay for old stuff!
We've been coming here for years. Coffee is excellent.
Since they started doing brunch, the amount of disorganization amongst staff is mind blowing. They run around like chickens with no head or stare at the ceiling, but EVERY time we come to grab a coffee to go, we wait anything from 10 to 25 minutes. FOR COFFEE. More often than not, there are 1 to 6-7 drinks before us, therefore absolutely nothing to justify that.
I wrote to management privately trying to explain the situation but never got an answer & things are not changing.
This was unfortunately the last time we go.
I used to always go there but after a while I got fed up of the same play list & the music got louder + people speak loud . I don't think it's a good place to work if you need calm environment. I will go for coffee downstairs but won't go back to work.
Best Chai Latte ever tried. Totally made in house with the right spices & double dose of espresso (as all their coffee beverages). You feel the spices in your throat. Wow. & also, it's beautiful inside, probably one of the best ones I've ever been (I really like the modern design furniture + plants) & a retro feeling. Good lightning. Awesome coffee shop.

Today, the coffee shop is full with a lack of staff. The staff is working nonstop because there are so many people. The turnover is sad because the staff is very good. I hope they can keep people working at the place.
I usually like the Petit Dep for its cozy setting, but I've been appalled by the bad attitude of the baristas at this establishment. It's come to a point where I hesitate on coming back at every encounter.
There have been multiple occasions where:
- you can hear them openly talk rudely about customers in front of other customers
- the coffee is always so aggressively served that a portion of coffee even falls out of the cup
- they seem constantly irritated at you about everything & anything (yes, even when you're just ordering coffee)
The location is very nice, the food & coffee is just ok, but it's the poor customer service that really pulls away from the overall experience. NO ONE enjoys paying 7$ for coffee only to be treated with such disgrace.
Very disappointing for a place with such potential - please do better & respect your customers!

I used to love coming here. The ambiance is perfect & the coffee is really great. The staff have always been super sweet & the layout of the second floor is optimal for working & studying.
However, when I went today with a friend, we were informed that if we wanted to stay here to work, we had to pay a fee. Somewhere between 5-7$ depending on how long we stayed. We immediately left. Usually, when I come here, I stay several hours with a friend & we both end up spending 20$ each on coffee & snacks. In an attempt to gain some extra cash, they ended up losing out on funds. I find it so insulting that in a society that continues to commodify simply sitting & existing, this once perfect cafe has decided to spit in the face of their clients & student population in the surrounding area by demanding that they pay a fee to work or study on one of their chairs.
I will not be back here, not until they remove this extra fee. & clearly I'm not the only one. While it has historically been difficult to find a spot to sit at, especially on a Saturday afternoon right around midterms season, the second floor was completely empty. Sad & disappointed.
They don't allow iPads for reading downstairs anymore - I was told after they took my order. Not a good place to have a coffee & relax & read on a weekend - recommend going elsewhere
A genuinely beautiful café that can charm any kind of visitor. My friend & I discovered it by chance while walking by. We had coffee, cheese croissants, & chocolate - everything was absolutely amazing.
