Got a good cold brew. Interior has lots of places to sit, chat or eat. No laptops rule for a few tables.View more
View more
It's a very cute cafe with a great design & ambiance but it is not laptop friendly so if you look for a place to study or work, you need to think about finding somewhere else. Also, the person who served my blue velvet smoothie wasn't friendly as if she wanted to get rid of me!View more
The interior is gorgeous, the dry goods are finest quality, but the'eat in' food is pre-made in takeout containers & the slow poor service is below abysmal - if they even manage to get your order right or remember to make all of it be prepared to go behind to counter to find where they left it - we were not even seated we were waiting at the counter for twenty minutes for two drinks & a pre-made cookie... awkwardly standing watching our only half correct drinks left on the back counter go off while ten people were served & discovered we had to re order the damn dessert they forgot to lift & put in a plate when we finally went half behind the counter to ask if we could have the drinks we paid for - only great for photos or sitting with a laptop if you don't care about food or serviceView more
Great vibe. The new third floor space is great if you're working on a laptop & hopefully it will be a little less crowded now that it's open. it's exactly what you want in a cafe. I love le petit dépView more
Really cute cafe that I loved to go & has nice vibes! However, recently seems like they implemented "No laptop" rule on the weekends, so unfortunately I won't be going back as often as I want to. In order to use a laptop, you must go up to 3rd floor & pay for the internet (on top of paying for coffee 😔). Not sure if that's worth it. Still, It'd be a great place for someone who wants to meet up with friends or read a book.View more
Easily my favorite spot in griffintown, tastefully decorated, the opposite of douchy & it has a no-laptop area. It reignited in me the pleasure of hanging out at a cafe, around me there were people playing cards, a couple cuddling on a couch, two girls talking, another couple on a date, someone reading a book. Without being anti-technology, it's nice to have a dedicated area where there's no screens blue light around, plus a truly relaxed vibe.View more
Looking for a comfy & bohemian café? This is the place. Service is friendly, coffee is great, & be sure to try the berry scones. I also love how there is a special seating section where laptops are not allowed. 5his adds a very human-interaction-focused & extra-chill vibe that most cafes are sadly lacking these days. Update: this place is a hidden oasis especially in winter. It continues to enchant me.View more
I love that this place has a laptop free zone so I can actually go to a cafe to chat with my friends or read a book with my coffee in peace. The buzz of electronics ruins the vibes in most places. Hard to find cafes that aren’t crammed with laptops.
Although they have space in the front where you can have a laptop which I’ve also used which was nice too. It’s limited to 3hrs of wifi which I think is great if I just want a small change of scenery.
If I wanted a whole spot to work from I would get a membership at a wework or something. Not sure what people are complaining about in the other reviews. This is a cafe not a co working space?
Alsooooo the vibe & decore is stunning !View more
