Les boissons & les scones sont délicieux, le personnel est adorable, l'identité est bien trouvée, c'est tea o'clock toute la journée. Seul mystère : qui a eu l'idée du nom sérieux ?
Petit café sympa, victime de son succès parfois, il y a beaucoup de table pour un si petit espace... A emporter, c'est top. Petit bémol pour mon Macchiato qui avait un goût amer légèrement salé, pas fan.
Café de quartier (qui passe en mode apéro certains soirs de semaine), avec une décoration & du mobiliers minimalistes. C'est comme avec la façon de commander en toute simplicité, vous choisissez assis à votre table & vous allez au comptoir pour commander. La personne en charge de la caisse, qui nous a accueilli, a été souriante. Le service rapide a été rapide & pourtant il y avait du monde. (Visite le 5 novembre 2023) Un bel effort sur la vaisselle proposée pour le service du High tea. Nous vous suggérons de réserver si vous venez pour cette formule. Nous avons apprécié les différentes bouchées qui composées le plateau, aussi bien les salées que les sucrées. Belle variété de thés proposés. Bon rapport qualité-prix pour la formule High tea, ce qui devient de plus en plus rare par les temps qui court.

We went to the english afternoon tea & were pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness of each item served. The platters had more salty items, which is something I prefered & at the end of the tea session, I was very full. The scones especially were memorable. There was about 10 varieties in the tea selection. I very much quite enioyed the ambiance. Although there is normally a 2h max time slot, because there was no reservation after us, the staff allowed us to stay until we wanted to leave. It was a friday around 2pm, it wasn't crowded.
I highly recommend this place for hightea. Great service, good food, gôd ambiance, great price.
I don't know why I didn't leave a review last year when I came here, but here we are.
My co-traveler & I LOVED this shop! The community table was small but the shop was calm & peaceful. The barista who served us & helped me remain calm while we figured out if my card actually went thru was amazing. He let me try all the different types of drinks & foods they had. It was our last day in Montreal before heading back to the US but I'll ABSOLUTELY be back.
Super endroit pour le thé, personnel très amical & la terrasse est parfaite pour profiter des après-midi d'été. Les prix sont corrects & la nourriture est assez bonne, super endroit proche de Jean-Talon!
