Situé à Verdun, la Bêtise est la réponse de quatre amis qui se demandaient comment rehausser les plaisirs de la table et du bon vin. La formule bar-lounge-tapas a donc été pensée pour offrir aux passionnés d'expériences culinaires une soirée extraordinaire: tapas explosives pour tous les genres de palettes, plats de résistance inventifs, carte des vins et cocktails élaborés et originaux. On y offre la possibilité de partager et d'explorer des classiques adaptés à la fine cuisine dans une ambiance chaleureuse et décontractée idéale pour passer un bon moment. Le resto saura sans doute service d'emplacement parfait pour vos prochaines bêtises!

Les huîtres étaient fraîches & délicieuses.
Le vin était divin.
Le service très courtois & attentionné. Nous n'avons manqué de rien.

4 stars seems too low. I could give this place a 4.5 star for food. it was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect for a nice date, good background music, friendly service. we will be going back

Très bel endroit & très bonne nourriture sophistiquée, mais trop cher. Les huitres à 1$ sont délicieuses mais minuscules & on ne peut en prendre plus de 24 par table. La formule tapas avec des tout petits plats pour le prix d'un plat principal finit par nous ruiner.

The ambiance was warm & inviting, with a smooth background music. Service was prompt & welcoming. The cuisine proved satisfying, flavorful & generously portioned. The wine selection felt somewhat limited, & the pricing leaned toward the higher end.

Des plats de très bonne qualité & un service très courtois! J'ai essayé dans le cadre de Montreal à table, les accords vins étaient parfait. J'y reviendrai!

Tried this restaurant through Montreal à la table. Set menu for $65. Appetizer salmon crudo was excellent 5 stars for sure. Main dish of octopus was plentiful & grilled to perfection. Also 5 stars. Others in my group had beef cheeks & pasta & said they were underseasoned & just ok. Service was good. Drinks took a long time to arrive but were delicious. Dessert was ok. Charming decor & restaurant was very busy. Overall a great night.

Nous sommes allés au restaurant La Bêtise vendredi dernier. L'ambiance était chaleureuse, l'accueil impeccable & nous avons très bien mangé. J'ai d'ailleurs décidé d'y organiser mon party d'employés pour Noël. Merci à Nam pour ses excellents conseils & pour nous avoir fait découvrir le meilleur du menu.

We were warmly welcomed. The restaurant is nice & clean. My first course was onion soup gratiné & it was one of the best ones I've ever had my second course was beef cheek with a piece of foie gras on top. It was served with vegetables, mashed potatoes, & the best gravy I've ever had in my life. That meal was fantastic for dessert, although the portions were a little small it was delicious. 10/10 😍 Highly recommend

I was there during MTL à la table, so understandably it is not the showcase opportunity of what a restaurant can offer. Value was acceptable under these circumstances.
Food: nothing special; fois gras in the beef cheek dish felt like rubber, plate was served lukewarm to cold. Beer salad missed flavour.
Service: decent, polite & friendly personnel
Atmosphere: slightly noisy, loud music, difficult to maintain a conversation.

La Bétise in Verdun in a lovely place. The service is always nice, & the food is always delicious. We're a big fan of the scallop & crab bites as they are some of our favourites, but everyone will find something they like in the menu.
Thank you again to the La Bétise team for another great evening!

Première visite chez La Bêtise & pas la dernière! Nous sommes arrivés en retard à cause du trafic, nous avons été très bien accueillis malgré notre retard.
Beau menu Montréal à table , joue de boeuf & foie gras menoum! Délicieux , gourmand, excellente portion. Credo de saumon très relevé, excellent! & un dessert à se coucher par terre, tarte déconstruite aux pacanes, sucré ,sucré & combien satisfaisante pour une gourmande comme moi .
Le service gentil de tous, traité comme si nous étions des bons amis à table , j'ai beaucoup apprécié!
Oui, j'y retourne bientôt c'est certain !

Stopped by to watch the hockey game with my friends during mtl a la table! Had the tagliatelle's, & it did not disappoint! & if you're looking for a real upper with this nasty weather get the French onion soup!
Overall great experience, cocktails were nice & so was wine selection!
Would highly recommend!
