Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! I cannot wait to go back. Our waitress was cheerful, knowledgeable & very patient considering we kept switching between English & French throughout the night. I highly recommend it!
Christmas Mojito was a nice variation with the strawberries & litchi, very refreshing! All dishes ordered were delicious &. Beautifully presented. The fried cauliflower is a must: no batter just crunch , flavour with a pleasant spicy sauce. Our second favourite was the tuna tataki. We also enjoyed the shrimp ceviche( avoid if you do not like coconut, it is subtle but too much to my partner's liking) The lamb dumplings were very tasty
Je suis allée à la Betise samedi & malheureusement il a plu. Heureusement pour nous, nous avons passé quand meme UN super moment! Notre serveuse Emmanuelle a été efficace, douce & avenante & nous a bougé à l'intérieur. Ils choisissent bien leur équipe & ça parait ! Tout était succulent & l'ambiance était très agréable. Je vais définitivement reproduire cette expérience. Belle équipe, bon service, belle , ambiance & bonne bouffe!
Been here a few times. The dishes are usually good & the menu has some variety which makes it a good choice for groups. Some elements, like purees, on some of the dishes need to be seasoned (the lamb & the octopus had bland sides). Cocktails are okay but needed better balance & could have been more interesting. I also wish it was a bit better value; it is entirely possible to get 3 dishes & still be hungry which would be alright if each dish was priced a bit lower. I would definitely recommend the Mac n cheese & the duck which were some of the better dishes I've tried. All in all it's a good place that has the potential to be great.
Service impeccable. Excellent, raffiné & très bonnes combinaisons de saveurs. Cependant le plat de pleurotes grillées un peu gras avec un peu trop de pommes de terres. Le plat de pieuvre grillée excellent, mais je me serai attendu à une 2ème tentacule, je suis restée sur ma faim.
Nous étions 4 .....générations différentes & nous avons tous apprécié Je retournerai avec mes copines qui cherchent toujours à trouver des "perles" sur Wellington À la prochaine ! Merci
Tartare de saumon & macncheese bon! Chou-fleur tempura excellent! Frites trop molles, un choix regrettable pour tout le groupe. Je ne remangerais pas leurs huîtres, trop petites, ne goûtent rien. Ambiance & service ok. Préfère de loin La Bêtise de Rosemont, malgrés que celui de Verdun est plus grand.
I went with a friend, had reservations, was pretty early. We were well greeted. Food was good. Lots of fish & seafood , so if you are more a meat person, this might not be the place. The serving staff was eTing at the corner of the bar, the restaurant had been opened for at least an hour , so.i recommend you eat before you open. Waitress comes over takes or order. We go for drinks first. After 10 mins same waitress comes to see if we want to order food , we hadn't gotten or drinks yet. She said sorry, & went to try & make or drinks. Mine was a Ceasar , well she had no clue, tried looking for things, one other waitress tries to help. She even went to the bar tender, maybe a boss aswell. Any ways he helped her a little just to show her were some ingredients were, then sat back down, a little while later she finished my drink & star5wd the same thing for my friends drink. Same thing. Finally bartender got up & decided to help. Poor waitress she had no clue. I put this on the bartender or owner, it's called training . I even got up & went to get some Tabasco for my Ceasars, poor her didn't put any it it. Rest of the evening went well. But the price on twist off wines is totally excessive. 60$ for a twist off of of 9$ max.
2e fois encore une fois un très bon service on a pris plusieurs plats, nous étions une tablée de 8 personnes. A part le mac&cheese qui est ordinaire, en passant il n'y en a pas un, peu importe le resto, qui m'a épaté à ce jour, overrated les m&c. Beaucoup de plaisir pour tous, vraiment un restaurant cool.
Nourriture de style tapas, délicieuse. Le service est excellent & toujours accompagné d'un sourire. L'ambiance est bruyante, mais c'est exactement le style de joyeux désordre que nous recherchions.
